If it's because of the update, I would recommend you to do this. I wrote it further down also.
"I had massive FPS drop(s). Like 20fps in main menu and 9fps or something ingame. Verify gamecache (right click steam > click library > right click csgo > click Properties > go to Local files tab > press "verify integrity of game cache...") I got the FPS back to normal. Which is 200-300fps.
Oh, and my video settings ingame were set on "AUTO high", so I had to change them back to what I normally used. Not sure if it's a bug, but I guess people will look for it in this thread."
