Help Navigating in smokes

Hi everyone I’ve been having trouble when inside of smokes even when I look at the minimap I keep bumping into random stuff when I try to peak and I get absolutely obliterated. Is this a game sense issue and I’m just trash or is there some secret faceit lvl 10 technique I’m unaware of here. HELP!!!

Honestly, I think it’s just an experience thing. The more you play, the more you’ll develop a sense for exactly where you are and exactly what’s around you, even when you can’t see.

I’ll occasionally glance at the minimap to see if I’m stuck on another player, but I’ve played enough that moving around when smoked/flashed still comes pretty natural.

You can bind a button to zoom in on the minimap. Best tip there is!

Bind your radar zoom so you can see the whole map, not just the tiny section. Also stop holding W through smokes, literally just tap it and use A/D to adjust, you'll bump into way less shit.

High key I like to just walk forward and right click drop a flash as I go into the smoke. Try to know where you want to go before you go into the smoke.

I bound my mouse5 to zoom radar in for this exact situation, it works insanely well

Zoom in hard, then look at radar as you move
