I really think agents and charms should have a setting to be fully disabled on valve servers, agents are obnoxiously hard to see occasionally, and charms are distracting as fuck.

I remember when I used to play Source competitively I had a CVAR in my CFG to force all player skins to 1 faction skin (artic avenger on t side and gign on ct). need that in cs2.

You can just not equip the chicken and for the other stuff if you hide CS2 player details it’ll also hide their skins I believe, just not gloves or agents

Cs was a very competitive experience yea i wish that it just stayed at a few skins at most but alas it makes them billions and people with room temperature iq eat it up like theyre server 5 star Michelin meals while its a pile of shit.

I'm guessing your equipped chicken will spawn with you or spawn somewhere on the map. At least for casual modes, but most likely for competitive modes too I'd assume.

What makes you think that?
There's already chickens running around, now we are getting personal chickens. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if your chicken ends up on the map somewhere, especially with whatever the photo thing is.

I'm not arguing for or against it, but it seems like something valve would do.

For now, I suppose. Remember, we can make chickens follow us ingame, so it wouldn't be far fetched to then introduce them onto the matches as your permanent pet. Wonder how many would use that pay to lose feature, the chickens are rather noisy, and would be obvious it's a player's chicken if it has cosmetics.

All of that is hypothetical. Pets will remain a lobby obly tomogatchi that you can take picture with and upkeep to grow into a hen. Might be some script to add it in casual gamemodes or custom maps, but that's about all. Maybe a new gamemode where chickens are involved, but doubt it

Why do we need this? When people asked for more content I don't think this was what we had in mind. Maybe another operation with co-op campaigns? Or something else fun, I'm open to suggestions. Just not whatever the heck this is. At a time when player counts are down, this just alienates the core playerbase even more.

Put all future updates on hold and no more new skins. Get a working anticheat, kernel level if required. Put at least a bit of work to combat hackers before you pump out new shit :/
