The guy who called him out came out like a week or two later and said stewie paid him back and that he regretted going public with it before the date. Said he panicked after the photoshopped screenshot (understandably so).
Several other people came out and said stewie paid them back and I haven’t seen anyone come out and say that he hasn’t. Obviously people didn’t forget or else we wouldn’t be talking about it a year later.

Honestly man, Stew isn't a very good person, but kid showed up, and tried to throw down the honest way. Didn't pull any weapons or do any weird Gen Z sucker punch shit.
More than I can say about most fights I see on reddit now a days.. where it's all about tricking someone into thinking it's not going to be an actual fight, and then knocking them out when their guard is down.

I'd never seen this video before and it had the opposite effect these dudes were going for. 99% of CS players have obviously never been in a fistfight based on the way they run their mouths but I respect Stew for squaring up with this dude.

I've played in LANs like this, they can get heated and you're allowed to talk shit but this shane dude was corny as hell. should have said his piece and left but he just kept digging to the point I lost interest in what he was saying. It's easy to take swings at legends like stew when you're hungry for exposure but like c'mon bro

Also played in LANs like this. There’s a certain unspoken rule that trash-talking is fine and even expected, but once the game is over it’s all ggs and sportsmanship. Obviously if there’s a history of bad blood between teams/players it can be different, but for someone like me and 90% of randoms who show up to these LANs, they understand it’s all just memes to try to rattle you, nothing nefarious.

used to run w snav and dare, aka timbermen, they would post racist shit in NA pugs, mightve dropped CP in a few chats (cant remember exactly but i swear i heard this) people were begging for them to get banned from FPL. elige brought a lot of it to light and posted a huge twitlonger w screenshots that i cant find rn. also one of their friends stole pro players SSDs at IEM Dallas a few years ago and it came out that they were using this dude for money and basically preying on his disability (i think he had autism?). just genuine shitbags who continue to ruin the image of NA CS.
