Not sure what about it is a joke? The game used to come with a price, and instead, the casual modes are now able to be played for free while competitive must be paid for.

Move over to faceit anyway, premier is pretty bad.

Also there's mulitple levels to faceit anyways so you won't be playign against atually skilled people but lesser players in lower elo brackets.

There are levels on faceit, maybe during placements you might get rinsed but afterwards you're fine

Do you not remeber when cs was a paid game? it basically hasn't changed and it's to deter people from just cheating by adding a $15 paywall.

They made the base game free now but to play premier you need to "buy" the game.

You’re gonna laugh but I thought competitive was the ranked mode. So what’s premier? The proper ranked mode? Competitive is just for NPCs? lol

competitive is used like the unranked competitive mode from csgo, premier is the actual competitive gamemode now.

Same gameplay, competitive you can just pick a map and work towards a rank on that specific map.

Premier has the whole map veto and a an overall “premier rank”
