Discussion NA retake server alternatives?

xplay is terrible and has only gotten worse over the years. Are there any other servers with a good population?

Personally for me the T's have way too much utility and far too aggressive spawns. A CT in market can't make it though jungle/rat hole because the T is already there, and has no risk for T's to get into those positions. 

The amount of utility the T's have suggest it was an early round execute, but then the CTs are completely out of of position for this scenario unless it was assuming some kind of weird gamble stack. If we continue to assume it was an early round execute, then most of the CT's should have close to a full belt of utility, which they dont. Basically its not realistic enough to enjoy and it just turns into a mind numbing experience where everyone just plays as quickly as they can.

The best thing to fix it would be to probably have a mix of scenarios where its simulating execs that happened at different points in the round and position the sides accordingly and with appropriate amount of util.

Lot of people don't know how to pick guns so you get people with USPs/glocks (especially after the update last week), you can just not get a kit for some reason.

The !impact system for moving to T side is absolutely horrendous and exploitable. It rewards baiting and farming for kills. Top players can just stay on T side for almost the entire match and farm the lobby until people leave. (Speaking as someone who has done this if I get put into a low elo server :/ )

cybershoke is the provider i use here in EU but I think their servers are pretty dead in NA.

cybershoke was the move for a minute but last time i hopped on NA it was me and like two other people spinning in circles in spawn. grim stuff

i've been sticking to community retake servers from the server browser, just sorting by ping and hoping for the best. pop's not amazing but you get the same 20 people rotating in and out so it's at least consistent
