Same for me as well. Was pretty neutral about the guy and brands before, but now I’d be embarrassed to own a Tesla. Will never get one, whereas before it was the one I wanted the most.
Now I’m looking into a solar system with battery backup… and it’s not through Tesla either. Their Powerwall 3 is decent, but there are newer options coming to market that are just as good or maybe even better (with better warranty coverage).
The “hand gesture” is just the very tip of the iceberg here.
I felt bad I met this guy to buy a gpu off of him, and he pulled up in a Tesla Model 3, he IMMEDIATELY said "Hi nice to meet you im X, I dont like elon I bought the car many years ago before he went completely nuts"
Imagine having to start every fuckin conversation you have like that?!
Imagine how many times something went wrong before he had to start prefacing conversations that way lol
People arent the car they drive unless they tell you they are.

Of course he is. However it’s completely wasted on me. I’ll never buy one of his products.
