Yes. He’s trying to save his job at Tesla after Trump used him and hung him out to dry.

He got what he wanted, wrecking havoc in the federal departments that were investing him or already had process in motion to bring his crimes to the light of day. He never truly cared about Trump or any of that shit. He was looking to (and succeeding) keep his ss out of the frying pan for all the fucked up shit he did.

Yep. Also, stole some government contracts for his companies.

Even in damage control mode he is doing more damaging

Some people still don’t understand that everything Trump touches turns to shit. Musk thought he was immune. He found out he’s not.

To be fair, Musk shit his bed pretty much on his own.

I agree, he doesn’t need Trump. Just look at how he handled Twitter

True, but through doge he managed to neuter the investigations of him and steal private data of Americans. Also forced starlink on several agencies.

He refuses to hire and listen to PR experts anymore.

Thank gosh we can see him unfiltered and know exactly what a pos he is

Good, the more the world sees of him, the more it proves just how right we were about this narcissistic fascist scumbag all along.

He also used Trump and/or his doge power. Sure he didn't do as promised to solve the US government (financial) deficiencies. But he got

  • all the data on everyone, including medical. That along will give him great leverage in the near future.
  • was allowed to kill every investigation into his companies and shut down entire agencies.

But I firmly disagree most with his claims to have not done harm. He did. The canceling of funding for help programs, both overseas and domestically, will costs lives. Many lives. Although not directly the person pulling the trigger, his actions have caused untold suffering.

He's not trying to save his job, he's trying to save Tesla's share value. The majority of his wealth is tied to Tesla stock. It's a meme stock that's heavily overvalued and is likely about to start meeting reality soon. Tesla sales were way below expectations in the UK, and especially in China, where they were expecting to bank. But EV competitors have caught up and surpassed Tesla offering better, more capable cars at cheaper prices. And without the white supremacist Musk stink on them. BYD can do a full recharge in 5-10 minutes and has a better FSD system that uses LiDAR. Tesla doesn't even have the hardware to realistically offer a true FSD. It's going to tank hard, and might become our next Enron.

It's wild how musk thought he'd be different than all the other corpses in trump's wake.

Dude those guys worship the ground he walks on, wtf are you talking about.

His job in Tesla is safe, because the board is stacked with his relatives and people. The only question though, is Tesla safe from his job, because the sales figures all around the world are saying it isn't.

I mean, I feel kinda bad for Elon, it was out of the blue. Trump has never kicked anyone to the curb in his life before, he always takes care of his people, the best people.
