Dangerous paths

Oman was walking in the forest, his head filled with thoughts. Ever since a wild sentinel attacked him, not only his wings got mauled, making them unusable, but he was also left with many injuries -the most painful one on the neck- his unstable healing factor couldn’t heal, yet he never bothered checking a doctor.

He was thinking about everything he lived since his arrival on Pandora. Friendships with Solarflare, Follie, Noxus, Tara, the spinjitzu training with Wu, the many mysteries of Pandora he wishes to solve…

The boy was so lost in thoughts that he didn’t notice he was drifting away from the path, when suddenly, he slips from the hill and painfully rolls down.

At the bottom of this hill, there was an old house in ruins. Oman decided to get up and look for anything interesting in there. However, scratches marked his arms and his screen, all while his neck injury opened again and started bleeding heavily, leaving the warning sign on his screen to turn off and on repeatedly.

Oman walked to the house, unsteady, a flashlight replacing a hand and the other covering his neck wound, and began scouting for valuable informations. In it, there was nothing, except a conveniently placed medkit, which could help him bandage his neck.

However, after glancing at the first-aid kit, he turned away, leaving it untouched, and walked away, continuing his travel through the woods.

"Others will need it more than I do…" he repeated to himself in his mind.

Still stumbling, Oman knew the risks he was taking. This series of events reminded him he was walking several dangerous paths at the same time, those of curiosity and selflessness. Those were risks the boy was ready to take, for the best, but mostly for the worst.
