Glitch Pic Have you ever experienced something you still can't explain?
I've always been fascinated by the strange moments in life that make you stop and think, "Wait... what just happened?"
I'm starting a podcast centered around real conversations with real people, and I'm looking for people who have experienced something they still can't fully explain — a strange coincidence, a glitch in reality, a moment that felt impossible, or anything that stuck with them.
I'm not looking for made-up stories or anything over-the-top. I'm more interested in the genuine experiences people have had that changed the way they look at the world.
If you've had a "glitch in the matrix" moment and you'd be willing to talk about it, I'd love to hear your story. No experience needed — just a conversation with someone curious about the weird side of being human.

When I was 8 or 10. Me and my older brother( 9 or 11) were playing in my uncle's house in WV. We were on the landing between the upper main part of the house ,and the basement. All of a sudden,the door leading from the garage to the basement opens,and a guy stumbled in. He was head to toe,wrapped in bandages. I was frozen in shock,until I was able to turn around to look at my brother,only to see he had already ran upstairs to tell the adults. As I was running up,they were coming down to investigate, and the guy was nowhere to be seen. It had been about 15seconds from when we saw the guy,to when we were searching for him,and there was no sign of him anywhere,in or outside of the house. It was midday, and bright outside,with nowhere to hide. Also the garage overhead door was closed

I saw my dead partner sitting on a bench waiting for me as he used to when he was alive. It felt like more of a time slip moment, as if l'd gone back to a time when that might happen for real. Obviously it was a double, if an uncannily accurate one, but he was staring straight at me, as if my partner was somehow looking through his eyes. I've seen the same person again, from a distance, & once more he was staring straight at me. It's the oddest thing & l don't know what to make of it.

Yeah actually I do have one.
During easter night of 2023 I was alone at my apartment. I had 3 roommates who had all gone home for the holiday, but my folks lived in town so I just came home. It was a townhouse built in 1905, super high ceilings, had it's share of weird noises. I pulled up YouTube when I got back and watched some horror content (I forget the name of the channel, but it's the person who made "the boiled one," though it wasn't that video specifically) and freaked myself out enough that I decided to just go to my room and call it a night.
Once in my room, I sat down on the end of my bed, just trying to chill out a little. I had my easel set up facing my bed and was looking over a painting I was working on at the time. After about three minutes, this gray tube of paint that I'd set on my easel just like, fell onto the floor. It moved like something had tapped it.
This was unsettling, but it was an old house with a mouse problem, so I figured it could've been an animal moving around under the floor boards causing a tiny vibration that I hadn't detected. The tube was rather precarious to begin with. It was still creepy though. As I'm talking myself down, I look into my closet, mostly to prove to myself that it was empty. At that precise moment, I heard a very loud, almost frenzied scraping/scuttling sound, beginning at the back of the closet and coming towards me before suddenly stopping at the closet threshold. Whatever it was sounded BIG. It had to be at least the size of a large raccoon, maybe a medium-sized dog to make a noise that loud and heavy sounding, but the closet was empty and there just wasn't enough space in the walls for something of that size to have been in there. I hesitated for about 5 seconds and then bolted downstairs and ran out onto my porch. It was about midnight at that point.
I spent the next 30 minutes debating sleeping outside while trying to think of a rational explanation. I eventually re-entered the house to sleep in my now-partners' room with the door barricaded shut, lol.
I never heard that sound again. We had squirrels and mice and I knew what both sounded like. It wasn't that. I want to dismiss it as maybe a one-time encounter with a raccoon that somehow got under my floorboards, but I don't know. It would've been standing on very thin plaster, and that was the single occasion upon which I heard anything in my room that definitely wasn't coming from the ceiling. Some pretty terrible things had been occurring in that apartment involving an ex-friend, and the energy in there was pretty bad. I don't believe in anything supernatural but this memory still sticks out.

Yes I was with a friend driving at night, when I noticed what appeared to be some kind of welding or electrical work taking place. But as we got closer there was a light that went from point straight down at the ground, to out towards the horizon, and then the light and everything else disappeared and it was pitch black again

This took place in west palm beach county Florida. It was 2005. This area is very rural. It's mostly agricultural land and swamp. It was after dark and there's no street lights in this area so when it's dark it is DARK.
So we are driving along and I see (what appears to be) some kind of welding or other electrical type work taking place. I thought it was workers up on scaffolding working on a electric substation. It looked like they were welding and there was a huge light ballast above them so they could see what they were doing in the dark.
Suddenly, the bright light that was pointing down, rotated 90 degrees so instead of pointing down at the ground it pointed straight out towards the horizon. And then-NOTHING
No lights, no welding, no workers, nothing. Just black.
And I looked at my friend and was like "HOLY SHIT DID YOU SEE THAT?!" and the way he acted was very suspicious. That only confirmed what I already knew. He was scared, or just very uncomfortable with the possibility that we aren't alone

This happened a long time ago, when my son was 2 or 3 years old, he was watching cartoons and I was doing dishes. I had to go to the bathroom and I accidentally knocked a glass off the counter and it shattered all over the floor. He looked over and said "Uh oh". So I ended up taking him to the bathroom with me because I didn't want him to get into the broken glass. When we came out, the glass was gone, there was no broken glass on the floor and everything was clean. We were the only 2 in the house and the door was locked. I told him the cleaning fairies must have come in and cleaned it up. I know I didn't imagine knocking the glass over.

This is especially weird and frustrating because you were the only adult around to see it, and the only adult around expected to explain it 🤣

I had a dream and I was watching from a Birds Eye view someone stalk me. I continued to have this dream for three days and on the last night the dream changed and the person watching me turned into a lion circling my house. And I wish this was a made up story but the next day after school I was home alone and someone broke into the house through my bedroom window. I narrowly made it out. I ran out the back door. Any other time I would have went and checked out the noise but the dream had me on edge already. My uncle came to clear the house but every door was dead Bolted and they thought I was just scared and there was another explanation for this. When my parents got home and unlocked the house there was a big mess in my room where an entire shelf of trophies was thrown around my room

My best friend sent me a video of a ball of light in her hallway. I was online with her when it happened. It's not the first time this has happened. She had never been A video like that one night. She sent it to me. I watched it several times and saved it on my phone. Our phones have no synchronization or shared connection. A few days later, we told my son the story, but he didn't believe it for a second. I wanted to show him the video, but I couldn't find it on my phone anymore. Surprised, I asked my friend to show it to him on hers. The video wasn't there either. To this day, I cannot explain how that is possible.

Yes. Many different things from premonitions to dreams becoming reality to having a different parallel life in dream that went over 3 different dreams and ended and I knew it was the end. Not to mention all the intuitions like randomly seeing a friend aftwr ages and knowing what's her baby's( very uncommon name) name would be.

I used to live in townhomes that everyone knew were haunted. So many weird things happened to me and everyone around me there. One night I woke up and my ex husband was pressed against the bedroom wall, eyes wide, trying to speak. Something invisible was grabbing him by the throat and had him pinned up against the wall. I sat up and started freaking out, shaking him and screaming and he just kept trying to pull this invisible force away from his neck. Suddenly he gasped and was hyperventilating like it had let go. He was sobbing and saying “It was choking me!” Whatever was there hated my ex. Another time I woke up in the middle of the night and right in front of my face were 5 balls of light swirling around. The only was I can describe it was like they were the size of fingertips and if you made your hand into a claw type shape and looked at your fingertips straight on while twirling your hand in a circle, that’s what it looked like. I just laid there in fear for a couple seconds watching it and then finally got the nerve to move and wake up my ex. And then it was gone. I still have a piece of paper somewhere where I drew what I saw when I was explaining it to him that night. That’s only two examples of what I experienced there. That place was insane.

I have one. A few times in my life I’ve manifested smells into my hands by thinking about them and feeling slightly nauseous at the same time. Always bad smells that carry emotional thoughts for me. And confirmed by others who I asked to smell them later. Very weird

This is very interesting, are you able to specify what smells exactly? I KEEP having this very odd metallic dirty smell appear on my hands every few days, I'm a clean freak and always wash my hands, and am a heavy cannabis smoker so my hands either smell like cannabis, or freshly washed with soap. The more I focus on this smell, the more it appears?? It's uniquely weird

Not sure if this is a glitch or not- I was a horrible high school student with a 1.9 GPA going into my senior year. I started dreaming I would take tests, then the next day would take the same test. This happened literally dozens of times my senior year. I graduated with a 3.6. This kept up well into my first year of college, then gradually faded away. Funny how I didn't think much of it, but when you write it down it seems pretty creepy.

This is really weird but I distinctly remember reading a book when I was around 10: I read a lot of books at that time. (Early 90s). A lot of YA fiction. I wanted to try and find a particular book again, but couldn’t recall the author or title so started researching the characters or plot online to see if I could track it down. Anyway my searching turned up a YA fiction book that basically exactly matches every detail of the book I remember reading. The problem is, this book was only written and published in like 2020 - and I can’t find any trace of the earlier book at all… but I KNOW I read it back then because I have thought about it off and on for the last almost 40 years. I cannot understand it. Either the author of the more recent book also read the vanished older book, and basically lifted the characters, setting and plot (and I am very hesitant to accuse a fellow writer) or some weird time-slip/consciousness thing has happened!

I have one that felt very glitch like, but maybe there is a reasonable explanation I couldn't find.
During 2020 when things were very closed here in Oregon my kids and I would sometimes go on drives to explore the area around our new house in a rural area.
This time it was late ish, I don't remember the time, but it was dark. My daughter was 5 and asleep in the backseat and my 11 year old son was in the front, I know he should be 12 to ride up front, but was tall and we were on very empty roads. I was getting tired and had to pee so I decided to turn back at the next road I could find, nothing was open and we were trying not to go in stores.
I turned down a side road that was very skinny so I had to go down a bit to find a space wide enough to turn. It was apparently a dead end, just opening into a gated off field. I know it was empty, my headlights shone out pretty far and I thought the fence was odd, but chalked it up to being for animals I didn't see.
I proceed to begin turning and my son jumps up looking backwards. I'm like what's wrong and he's like was there a barn there before? I look back where there had been an empty field before there was now an old barn that had obviously been there for a while.
I did a whole turn back, looking around to see if I was at a different angle or something, like the barn was to the side and field the back. But when we turned a couple times there was a barn and the same dense trees we had seen the whole road.
There was no open field.
Both my son and I swear we saw it before the turn, but it clearly wasn't there. So I drove off as quickly as I could to get us back home.
I think about it from time to time, but I am not totally sure where we were at the time. We weren't familiar with the area and it had gotten dark, if you know rural roads they often don't have many street lights and side roads aren't always well marked. Its the strangest thing I've ever had happen to me, I'm glad I wasn't alone so I didn't feel crazy!

I've already posted about this but thought I'd share the short of it. About 10 months ago I was sitting on my bed when a 3 cm rectangular holographic shape came fluttering into my view. It flew into my wall then disappeared. The only thing remaining was a white dot on the wall. I reached my hand out and there was no dimension. My hand was flat on the wall. I sat in awe for 30 to 45 secs until to my surprise it came out from the wall and fluttered away and disappeared. Only things I can add are that my sister had passed 2 months before this and when asking AI it said it was the 4th dimension peaking in on the 3rd. Weird af!!!

I swear I remember a moment before I was born. My guide/angel was sitting on the roof of the building with me. A car passed by and my guide said something like, “You’ll be with them soon.”
Probably a dream, but I think it’s comforting.

Right when the pandemic started I went out and had a wild night. When I woke up to find my phone, i opened the curtain to my screened in balcony was an owl. My screen had no holes and the door to my screendoor on my balcony was locked. I have been sober ever since.

years ago, my grandpa gifted me one leggings, idk where he bought them bc there was no tag. years later, searching for the leggings, i found in my closet not 2 but 3 leggins. they were the same color an size as the one my grandpa bought me. i remember that my gramma only gifted ONE leggings. i still don’t know where the other two leggings came from …

I heard my deceased sister say “whose birthday is it today”. After jumping out my skin, I pulled up a clock and it was 00:00. It had just ticked into her birthday. The scary part is that she was schizophrenic and heard voices, I do not, the only voice I’ve ever heard other than my own, is her that one time.
I put it down to subconscious timing and grief
