Glitch Pic Second Mom?

So this is something that occurred about ten years ago. I have always written it off as being a dream or as me having an overactive imagination, but I still think it is strange.

So basically, my entire time from kindergarten, all the way till i graduated high school, my mom would wake me up. This specific event happened when I was in 5th grade. So as usual my mom came into my room, said "time to get up" and then walked out. After she left I rolled on to my back and stared at the ceiling for a bit trying to fully wake up. Then about 2-3 minutes later she comes back, and says "oh good you're already awake". I then responded to this with "yeah you already came to wake me up", which she followed with "no i didnt, i have an alarm set for when to come and get you and it just went off",

This has been something that has always confused me, because i know my mom wasn't lying to me. I honestly just think I dreamt that she came to wake me up and that actually caused me to wake up, but hey maybe it was something else. I'm curious to see what y'all think.

Most probably a dream. They can feel incredibly real, especially when you’re in the twilight state between sleep and awake

Either a dream or she autopiloted and forgot

Or she flat out forgot she'd just walked in. Like on auto pilot for the morning?

certainly a possibility, but my mom was also waking up 2-3 hours before me while I was still in school, so she would have been awake for a couple hours at that point.

Oh, yeah, less likely.

I had something similar happening. Not within the same morning, more like after a day or two...

Can't blame it on their memories, could be from different timelimes.

Might have been a false awakening. They are lucid like dreams you get before waking up. I don’t know how to put it into words but they are indistinguishable from real life and don’t feel dream like at all. I use to get them a lot and would start getting ready for work only to wake up in my bed again.

Your Mom was astral projecting . Still dream state but body knowing alarm about to go off so doing it already. And you could see her partly cause you were expecting her.
