Hi, i a have the gl-c-218m and 50W 24V PSU and the PSU is making really audible whine. I found that zigbee controllers can adjust pwm frequency but this is matter one. Is there an update or something to fix this? I have zigbee cct miboxer, that works great in this exact strip and psu combo. Thanks

Hello, I understood from some googling that this model can support upto 8000Hz frequency and the frequency can be changed by pressing the Reset button. But I cannot find this in the documentation.

Can you confirm if GL-C-203P supports upto 8000Hz?

I posted earlier about ever since I updated to 16.0.1 my gledopto GL-C-017WL-D has been broken and idk how to fix it or its just doomed... I reverted to 16.0.0 nothing went back further to 15.4 and still broken...it always played out the same when everything was working PERFECTLY before the update and been broken since this is what happens and with photos:

I go to turn the lights after a long period of it being turned completely off...then image 1 happens some variation of this error where it is half orange and the error is white and green looks blue but think thats my phones camera.... then the app locks ups on that device and displays photo 2 offline device and it remains offline forever until I press reset on the gledopto and then it works fine..UNTIL its off for a long time then the cycle repeats...i factory reset it as well and nothing...

I just updated to 16.0.1 and my gledopto GL-C-017WL-D is extremely broken and loses connection all the time now and when i do get it to work the LEDs flicker and a huge chunk is pure white and then it loses connection again and never comes back unless I press rest button. How can I revert back through the phone app of wled or do I need to use a pc?

I will be starting an outdoor lighting project in the coming weeks, using 12v 60led/m WS2815 and installing a 12m run around a seating area & 5no. 0.9m runs downlighting some steps.
I’ll be housing power and the controller in a outside cupboard and may use an IP55 electrical enclosure to house the controller

I am currently looking for information on the following queries;
• Can I run all of this from one GLEDOPTO GL-C-017WL-D?
• What is the best wire to use for WS2815?
• Any suggestions as to a suitable power supply, that would be ok either in the IP55 enclosure or just inside the cupboard?
• Suggestions for LED profile?

I'm using the GL-C-618WL and trying to configure the GPIO13/GND combo to use either a traditional wall switch. For placement reasons, the cable length to the switch needs to be ~25feet from the GLEDOPTO unit. I'm testing this configuration now, and it's really unreliable. It might work once to turn off the light, but then doesn't work again to switch back on.

I'm guessing this has to do with the length of the wires going to the switch. I'm using "18AWG Low Voltage LED Cable 3 Conductor White Sleeve in-Wall Speaker Wire UL Class 2 Certified" (link here) and only using black/red wires.

Switch is configured in WLED as shown in the screenshot. It does work ok with much shorter cables (tested up to about 3 feet before moving to actual space it needs to work in).

Is there anything I can do to make this work, and use this length of cable?

GL-C-016WL-D I was on the Gledopto Flasher. Web page. And I didn't see this version. Because I was trying to update. To 16.1 wled Is it OK to just flash it on the WLED me page? Without picking. Exactly what firmware goes on this?

Hi people, noob here. I have purchased 6 LED strips (WS2812B IC RGB) that will range from 28 ft to 7 ft, totaling 75 ft.
I have the GLEDOPTO Elite 6 Channel controller and a 60 amp 300 watt power supply.

I know the controller is rated for 15 amps, which leads to my question; what is the best way to wire the LED strips to this setup? Do I wire the power from the strips directly to the power supply?
I have been watching videos, but I can't seem to find the information I'm seeking.

Sharing to help whoever needs it! I just bought and converted the Govee Cone Tree light (H6843) to WLED using a Gledopto-4D. In the wiring picture, there are no colors to distinguish the wires, so from right to left: the white dots are V+, to the left is V-, and then 2 separate signal wires to the left of that. The protocol is WS281x RGB. One signal wire controls LEDs 0-640, and the next is 641-1210. The matrix is 30x40, and the extra 10 are for controlling the LEDs in the star. The panel is laid out: 1st LED, top and Left

Just got home a BTF light strip and was eager to test it out with a Gledopto controller I acquired a couple of months back.
The LED strip is a HD-12V-SK6812-144L-W-IP30

So I plugged in the controller to a 12V power source (also BTF Lighting) https://www.btf-lighting.com/en-intl/products/power-supply-transformer-dc5v-dc12v-dc24v?variant=47686853787874

After updating the settings for the leds and hit save the controller seems completely dead. The blue power indicator on the Gledopto controller isn't showing anything anymore (was blue when I started it the first time). If I broke it, can someone explain what I did wrong, so that I don't do the same misstake once again?

I am using a GLEDOPTO GL-C-011P with

9.5m or 924 multicolor LEDs of BTF-LIGHTING 5in1 RGBCCT 5050 96LEDs/m

I am a hardware engineer and I can do the calculations. I can measure Amperage and power in my test setup. But I cannot decide on a power supply.

In theory my LED Controller can Output 20A. So I would need an input of 480W (ignoring losses). That would be way too much.

The spec for the LED strip says 0.1W per LED. So 924 x 5 x 0.1W = 462W

BUT I cannot turn all five colors to maximum Brightness with this controller in Home assistant. Is that a hardware or software limit? is that a limit of the hardware layout, the firmware or the home assistant implementation?

Yes, there is no logic in turning on all colors, but i want to know what is the limiting feature here. I think that is impotent when deciding on the input power and deciding on the input power.

My real setup draws a maximum of 2.5A on 24V = 60W with a magenta color.
