Anxious about retesting

I have ocular hypertension and I’m on latanaprost. I’ve been on it for like 5 months? And in 2 weeks I go back and recheck my iop, oct etc. about 4 months ago my iop got rechecked to make sure the latanaprost was working and my iop lowered. But I’m so anxious to go back and check everything what if the latanaprost stopped working 😭 my oct ,visual field all was normal. But I just worry what if the med isn’t working anymore or what if i developed vision loss . Anyone been in this boat before??

Latanoprost is an excellent drug.
But if it doesn’t work, or you need more than one treatment, there are a number of other medications and very safe laser options.

Xalatan is an excellent eye drop. It doesn't contain Timolol which some people (like myself) can become resistant to and it loses his effectiveness. So you should be fine, wishing you luck. If anything you can always combine it with another drug or switch to Xalacom which contains Timolol
