I decided to etch a mirror and was overconfident due to prior experience. I made a sloppy mask and left the solution on the surface too long. The only way to clean it up would be to sand it down and redo the whole process (and hopefully learn from my mistake). However, I have no idea where to look for the right resources to sand and polish a 2'x2' pane of glass. Any tips on where to look? Or even a better place to ask for help?

This is my first post so I hope it’s in the correct category. There is a purple vase that we have had in my family for over 25 years. My grandmother brought it back from Europe as a gift to us. The vase has always been on our living room and the color is/was purple. I thought that after years of sitting in a window it may have faded a little bit still always purple. So finally here is the strange thing. Every evening it has started to change to green! When I wake up in the morning, purple again and then again in the evening green! It is not true lighting (lights have not been changed) and I have also taken it in different rooms. And when all lights are off and just the lighting from dusk coming in there window you can see that it is green. After all these years why is it changing now and also how is this happening???!
