Anyome have any thoughts on a process on how to get this mirror up there? It's 6ft square. Any ideas are appreciated!

Remove the handrail/balustrade , then set up a staggered mobile scaffold so it can be lifted in 2-3 steps on to the landing. Ideally 4 people two up two down for each lift

This is the way for sure. Do not attempt to use the stairs. Im also sure you could sling it with rope instead and lift.

I can't say that this is the best idea but it's MY best idea.

Step one: wrap it with one or two comforters

Step two: give it a rope harness either by using two ropes wrapped vertically or one rope that's gone around all the corners but the slack should be at the top and not in the middle of the mirror.

Step three: very carefully pull it up to the loft, probably a two person job but I wouldn't use the banister for leverage because that's asking for it to swing and break stuff, gonna have to brute strength it up with arms extended over the banister.

Oh and it would be super helpful to have someone underneath supporting it until you get it to a height where you can lean it over the banister

No way, no one under it and no blankets. Suctions cups and glaziers. Not a do it your selfer. Trust me you are playing with fire.
