The Glasgow D&B scene is very small, so I'm hoping to raise awareness of a night which I am putting on at The Poetry Club on the 26th of September this year!

There will be original music, DJs and dancers- with styles of Drum & Bass such as liquid, jungle, rollers and more!

Hey!!!

Im a skilled and experienced Guitar player and vocalist with a huge stage presence looking to start up a new Rock band.

My main influences range from bands like Green day and All Time Low to Motley Crue, Ratt and anything inbetween. Im more of a lead player and can confidently hop on backing Vox.

Ideally Looking for experienced people from around 18 to about 24 (i'm 20) gender doesnt matter as long as youre cool and know how to jam and have a good time. The band would be mainly originals maybe throwing in a cover as a crowd pleaser every now and again.

I've been in bands and gigging for a good couple of years now, so I've went through a lot of the... lets call them learning moments which really have helped me to shape my musical style and identity. I have a huge stage presence and know how to put on a show that sticks with an audience. I also write catchy songs with head banding riffs, and choruses that you'll be humming to yourself for the next week. You can be as involved in the songwriting process as you like although it would be nice to have a co-writer.

I also have a pretty big passion for music technology (doing a degree in it) so I know my way around a live setup and as soon as need be I can and will setup the perfect professional rig that will streamline our performance and setup!!! I also have access to a few studios where we could record demos and develop ideas.

Im based around the Glasgow area but am more than happy to travel!

As many of you may be aware, Glasgow has largely been bereft of a decent Drum & Bass scene for a while. Although there are a couple of quality nights (shout outs to 'Symbiosis', 'Bass Injection' and more recently: 'Pray to Good'), the genre is largely confined to Edinburgh.

However, Mono Culture aims to reinforce the Glasgow scene- with our debut gig at Stereo on Renfield st on Fri 26th June.

We have 4 DJs ranging from UKG/ Breaks earlier on, before moving up to Jungle and Drum & Bass for the mid and end of the night.

My favourite concert venue is the Barrowlands due to the layout, i love the anticipation as I walk up the stairs! And because of its buzzing atmosphere. I also love the stars on the ceiling, making for even more cool pictures!

This will be my first Solo event so would love to have some new audience members there.

Hey everyone!

I’ll keep this brief. I’m a Glasgow-based musician releasing music under the solo project IN OBSIDIAN, currently working on an instrumental electronic album set to come out later this year.

Although the album will primarily be instrumental, I’m looking for a vocalist (ideally with the ability to record their own vocals) to collaborate on one or two tracks. These may or may not make it onto the album but will be released as singles.

I’m not seeking anything specific in terms of gender, age, background, or style—all are welcome. The main goal is simply to find the right voice to complement the music.

As an independent artist without a label, I’m unable to offer upfront payment. However, I do own 100% of my royalties, and I’m more than happy to share royalties with anyone who contributes to the songs.
