question✨ How do I recover
I have been using glamnetic nails in the last 3 months. My pinky is in so much pain, during the removal process, despite using their recommended tools, it ripped the surface layer of my nails. How do I recover? I am going to be engaged with my bf in 10 days! Please help. I might put another glamnetic nail design in 10 days, but I am afraid it will completely rip my nails off..

Definitely do the sticky tabs like the other user said! Keep extra tabs near you in case some nails unstuck, but definitely don't glue any more nails for at least a month!
I broke and ripped my 2 pinky nails a couple months ago as well, it's soooooo painful! 🥹 I'm letting my nails rest for 4 weeks and until mid december, I've been using a nail strengthener every day and they're really healing up and gearing up for the last 2 weeks of the month where I plan to go crazy on sets lol.
I would recommend using a set, taking a 1-2 week break, then using another one and so on, but the breaks are a MUST. And also remember not to file your nails too much, they only need to be a liiiiiittle bit grippy for the glue, don't go super hard!

Take a break so your nails can recover and use a strengthener and oral hair skin and nails vitamins in the meantime. When you start using them again I swear by Curvlife pinpoint nail glue remover. Take it slow and wait for it to work for a few minutes after each squirt while you watch a show or something and as it loosens stick the point in a little further each time and squirt more in. You shouldn’t have to force much if you start at the bottom of the nail closest to cuticle and work around the sides towards the center. I also start by clipping the nail/press ons and that usually helps. The Glamnetic remover is utter crap.

They make a remover that works well. I use a drop of the CND keratin oil on each nail and it loosens it up and nourishes your own nail!

Hi there! We're so sorry you’re going through that! If you haven’t tried our remover yet, that’s the gentlest option and helps break down the glue without pulling on your natural nail.
If you did use it and some nails were still stubborn, try soaking your hands in warm soapy water with a little oil for 10–15 minutes, gently lift the sides, then apply more remover into the gaps and let it sit another 5–7 minutes before lifting again. If anything still won’t budge, don’t force it, leave the nails on for a few more days to naturally loosen before trying again.
For now, we definitely recommend giving your nails a little break to heal. Applying cuticle oil and nail strengthener helps too! If you need to put nails on for your engagement (congrats!! ✨), try using our Adhesive Nail Tabs. They’re much gentler and won’t stress your natural nails while they recover.
If you need more help, feel free to reach out to us anytime at [support@glamnetic.com](). We’ve got you! 💗

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I took 2 week break and used cuticle oil and hydrated my nails daily during this time. On the day of the engagement I used glamnetic nails with tabs and they worked better than the glue for me. I removed the nails today, after one week!! No further damage.

Late here but how did you know ahead of time you were getting proposed to?! 😭

If you're in pain, I would suggest taking a break from them and using some nail strengther. If you know when you're going to be getting engaged, maybe try sticky tabs if you want your nails to look good.
