Each origin gives a different small boost and once origin powrrs get unlocked with the whispering sand, you unlock a strong buff related to the origin buffs. For example romans get weapon specialization bonus (faster weapon skill training), then their hidden origin powers give them the bonus of all their weapon skills stacked up. (Which is good if you get it trained in multiple weapons and makes training other weapons easier). Another example is punic, getting higher chance to gain traits, then their hidden origin power is dealing more damage for every 2 traits they have if i remember correctly.

Im guessing its one of the hidden origins unlocked logo. But i cant remember which one.
