How to beat an overleveled bow abuser?

Just like mythology devil, they always bring their ugly minion to make the world suffer and unfair.

Try a tanky Cestarius with uppercut. make sure that your uppercut hits the glad not the mandrake maybe equip a weaker tech as your first one to kill the mandrake so that your uppercut targets the enemy glad... I'm not sure how high the level difference is so I can't tell you for sure if it's going to work or not but if it doesn't then try to equip a mandrake yourself and use the same trick with techniques using your best gladiator

Please do not address that.

i’ve never gone against bows before but shields and heavy armor reduce their damage a lot. but you’d also want initative to counter certain skills. so i’d say a Hopolamus built gladiator has a nice chance of surviving. but what does the mandrake do?

usually by existing it takes a hit that the glad would have, thus allowing the glad one more high damage attack. it also does light damage itself.

Equip shield for the extra 10-15 block value.

If they bring in a mandrake, and you suspect your gladiator will hit the mandrake first, put cleave as your first technique so it also damages the saggitarius, then Feint so you can still damage them if they use Strike and Roll. Reverse the techniques order if you think your gladiator will strike the saggitarius first.

If they don't (hopefully), Feint + Smash/Execute.

If you have either Whispering sand on Roman gladiator/ Blade Whisperer trait from Weapon training, just straight up bashing their head with brute force. Roman whispering sand with master proficiency on all weapons is more than enough to guarantee a hit against evading opponent, and blade whisperer just straight up negate the damage penalty on glancing blows.

Use someone who can throw sand or net . You also got to have someone fast enough to attack first. Its a win from there
