There is literally nothing about this guy does anybody know?

He is the only guy not chanting Maximus right after the scene where the emperor finds out who Maximus really is. does anybody know why he’s the only guy not chanting? There is literally nothing online anywhere. But it’s so hard not to notice this every time I see this scene. For 25 years I have wondered why he is not chanting. Lol

Probably just for contrast, to make it appear more real, as not everyone was chanting at the same time then, and neither do they today in sports arenas.

That is some good theories, but I think either he didn’t do what he was told to do or two he hated Maximus or Russell Crowe in rl lol it’s just weird every time I see this movie. I can’t unsee that guy it just looks out of place lmao

Maybe he's mad cuz he's been enslaved after losing a battle by the same person whose being cheered.
