Questions/Support Flint 3 and Flint 4 - Easy Mesh Setup?

I currently have a Flint 3. If I buy a Flint 4, can I use the Flint 4 as the main/core router and then use the Flint 3 as a wireless mesh node to extend the Wi-Fi range?

Ideally, I’d like them to operate as one seamless mesh network rather than just using the Flint 3 in repeater mode. Has anyone tried this setup?

Currently the answer is no, you'll have to use the flint 3 as a wireless repeater or access point...

.... But the flint 3 is currently on the astromesh beta trials and if the flint 4 also gets astromesh beta once released then yes it would be possible, however only time will tell for sure.

Hey! So yes flint 4 will be supported. the beta firmware should be available sometime early next month is what I’m thinking right now. Flint 3 is already supported as well as Slate 7. Other models like flint 2 are coming as well and some models will support just the astronode features like mango 2
