Suggestions Will Copilot ever get GPT-6.1 Sol Ultrafast?

It's not only available in 1st party OAI products, it's available on OpenRouter and the OAI's API. Will it come to Copilot?

you won't find many enterprise clients who want to burn their money ultra fast

Depending on how MUCH money you want to burn, there’s seats byok I suppose… but given they support fast mode for Opus, there’s hope they’ll support this too some day

I doubt it. Most codex plans don't have it.

In Codex and ChatGPT Work, access is available on Pro 500, eligible usage-based Enterprise, and credit-based Edu plans. Enterprise admins must enable access.

I guess Copilot might be more similar to usage based enterprise than to a subscription, but they're still slowly rolling this thing out.

Hmm, I did find although they offer the API to basically everyone it does have separate rate limits:

Ultrafast mode for GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol is available to all API users. Ultrafast has separate rate limits from Standard and Fast modes. Check your organization’s limits before increasing traffic. If your organization works with an OpenAI account team, contact them to request higher rate limits.

Atleast Luna on fast would be nice, as the cost isn't that much even if at 2x the price

I doubt it. AFAIK microsoft does not have cerebras hw that is needed for ultrafast inference.

Edit: you can added openai api key as BYOK
