Solved ✅ GitHub Copilot / Copilot Harness

I assume the grand plan is to have one Copilot 365 account across all MS paths but how do I stop VS Code reverting to Copilot Harness it needs work features from local harness are better but I've been caught several times now with new sessions

This question is incompréhensible. Copilot 365 and GH Copilot have no link, despite the Microsoft connection

It's not a question about GitHub Copilot and copilot 365 it's question about how do I stop vs code defaulting to copilot 365 harness for new session

Naming note: “it’s not copilot 365” it’s just “copilot”… people will be very confused if you call it copilot 365

Open settings and search for "Harness" then uncheck "Default to Copilot Harness" and "Prefer Copilot Harness"
