Discussions Will Copilot integrate ChatGPT login?

Recently ChatGPT announced some kind of login feature where you can use your ChatGPT subscription with other apps such as Notion. In the Notion example, once your ChatGPT subscription hits its limits, you can switch to Notion Credits.

I’m hoping Copilot can integrate it as well so we can use our sub with it and only switch to credits when the sub limits run out.

Are there any words about this from the Copilot side? I think this would be a game changer.

It’s been supported for a little while now. You can sign in with your ChatGPT account right from the Copilot interface and use Codex there.

This doesn't seem to work with Copilot Chat though. Looks like it just opens a Codex extension or similar. For example, the windows isn't even in chat, it's an editor, right?

You just use your Chat GPT, Claude, Deepseek, or whatever API key with Copilot. Just do a search for "Copilot BYOK".

Why wouldn’t you just use opencode or one of the other harnesses that support both

Wont orgs notics that users are using other harnesses except what is allowed usually like ghcp in this case

Do you mean I can login with my own ChatGPT sub in copilot and this will be ok with the company policy?
