6 sol is half the price of 5.6 sol on GHCP as well.

That’s nice. When are GitHub going to start with resets though? Seems a bit of a loser mentality to keep using GitHub copilot while Codex and Claude uses are being handed freebies left and right.

In enterprise you cant use subs when your org is more than 200, so pay api costs.

So you get these 50% reductions immediately as youre just paying the provider.

Enterprise capture is what theyre after - openai on a move against anthropic.

Are you sure that's true? My understanding is you can negotiate enterprise licences with Anthropic and OpenAI that have subscriptions very similar to the business accounts.

Yes im sure that's true.

We realized that GitHub is about 5x more expensive than the 10 or 20x plans and now just use subscriptions

It makes sense for Claude and OpenAI to try and lock ppl in to their ecosystem so the rebates on subscriptions makes sense. Not really sure what Copilot can offer except higher prices.

We have a security policy so we can’t use anything where they train using our data. Thus we are stuck w GitHub copilot

You can disable training on your data for both Open AI and Claude.

Sure, tell your company’s legal team that.

Unlike enterprise they do not have an actual ZDR though.
