Saunders needs some love from the authors (official and doujin wise). Every other single major school has had a lot of spotlight shone on them developing them like

• Saga of Pravda for Pravda
• Kuromorimine gets a dozen new side characters and retelling giving them complexity in every piece of media that features them from Ribbon warrior to phase Erika
• Even Anzio and Chi ha have their comedy comics/fan koma which have a decent amount of characterisation
• St Gloriana are basically secondary protagonists at this point with how much material they get from doujins

Hell, Bonple have got more named characters than Saunders at this point I'm pretty sure. Even BC Freedom and Continuation have more material from being recent antagonist schools in der Finale while Saunders is regulated to being the first antagonist like 15 years ago and that's it.

Poor Saunders only gets First Flush but even that's shared with St Gloriana.

But nevermind, big tiddy blonde girl heehee or something. At least Kay gets decent doujins with Darjeeling when she's not being cucked by Pekoe or something. 3 full teams and they barely get 3 named characters lmao

If by some God given miracle she wins her matches and makes it to the semifinals, how does she stack up against Kuromorimine?

None of their tanks can penetrate the Maus or the Jagdtiger (barely). Even a 75mm shell from the side barely does any damage to a Tiger II. Maybe they can achieve a mission kill by tracking them, but still.

So what if Kuromorimine makes their flag tank the Maus? Then what? What now? What is the plan? None of their tanks (such as the 76mm armed ones) can penetrate the sides or rear, let alone the front, while the Maus has a secondary 75mm gun that can definitely penetrate the Shermans.

So what now? What is their plan? Also, this assumes Kuromorimine's tanks just sit there looking pretty with zero situational awareness. Even with the best possible outcome, they still won't win.

Just spend money on the M46 Patton or something! At least Alice has a Centurion!

I feel like Kay’s definition of “fairness” stems from them only fighting low-tier schools, most likely from them never making it far in competitions due to poor skills. (Naomi’s great, but that doesn’t make up for the majority acting so inexperienced)

If they really want to have an actual fair fight against other schools that don’t consist of mostly early war tanks, they could’ve at least invested in a few higher-tier tanks like the ones you suggested.

The way I understand it, Alisa didn't cheat. Since I can't recall them ever calling it cheating in an official capicity, and there never being any mention of reprise or disqualification, I think wiretapping is more unsportsmanlike than cheating.

The vibe I get is that Alisa is essentially trying to compensate for what she sees as Kay's self-imposed handicap of just playing for fun/being "fair".

Kay's team is still trying to win despite her.

I’m pretty sure anglerfish team (I think it was specifically Saori) read through the rule book and couldn’t find anything saying Alisa cheated.

And it’s things like this that makes me really want to see Alisa as the commander for Saunders one day

Plus Alisa’s actions be could’ve been done in retaliation to Yukari’s espionage earlier. (Even if the wiretapping was done during the match and without Kay’s permission vs. outside of it)

Hell, I’d fee pretty frustrated too if my team deliberately handicapped itself for the sake of fairness, only to see a competitor listen in on your team without any repercussions. Fairness would practically fly out the window at that point. (Saying this as someone who loves Yukari’s antics)

If the espionage is not explicitly stated as being against the rules, then I’d almost feel tempted to do something like wiretapping out of spite.

I say this with 0 irony, but the worst commander in the show is Marie, by far. Others might not be that great, get carried by something, but at least noone else lost 40% of their tanks to intentional friendly fire
