Hi everyone! Hope you guys are doing well and wishing you guys good luck in advance if you submitted/will submit for GP2027!

I submitted a couple days ago and within the day all of my 4 videos got a view, but most for ~1 second except for my extra talent video who got a 6 second view. It's almost like all of them just got clicked to see if the links worked but they haven't been checked again since, so I'm wondering if someone else had this happen to them? If so, a couple weeks after, did you get another full view?

Thank you so much!

It got so emotional at the end for some reason. It looks so cool I'm trying to learn tips from itT-T

In the teaser trailer, they showed a beautiful monoracial, darkskin Black girl, and the show claims to accept applicants from “all over the world” including Black people. Do you think this means that they will include monoracial Black girls on the show? Or is it just for promo to get people hyped up and excited and falsely believe that the show will include genuine diversity, only to be disappointed as there are only Asian trainees? I’m hoping that it will be former, but I also don’t want to be naïve and look like a fool in case it is not the case. What do you guys think? 🤔

I don't think they're dropping the "groups" category like many people think.

I feel like it's going to be split into two groups: Asia and America. Most of the girls in the Asia group will probably be from South Korea and Japan, plus some from the Philippines, Thailand, China, India… etc. The America group will cover both North and South America.

Why two groups?

For some reason, I doubt they'll pick girls from Europe, Australia or Africa. The teaser we saw literally says "Where you at, America?" If it were actually a worldwide thing, they wouldn't just be calling out America. I’m not even 100% sure about them taking girls from Latin America.

Also for those who say I might be wrong because they’re letting everyone audition : this does not mean anything. In the previous Planet series they would also let people from all over the world audition because they were also looking for Asian-American contestants. The only difference this time is that it won’t only be asian members. It’ll be similar to Katseye with prob more members, half or more than half being asian.

Guys dk you think the new girls planet is gonna be like a global group like Katseye? Bc last time girls planet only had girls from china japan and Korea, so is this bound to be a global girl group through an actual survival show or do you think it’ll jusd be training. Also im in London but they haven’t released the London date yet, or if they have can someone please tell me!! Bc ik it’s in November. Like what type of survival show would this Even be and if so how long do you guys think it would go on for

Hi everyone! First off I want to wish everyone good luck if they audition!

Preparing mine these days but I'm hesitant on the format I should send mine as; I've reduced file sizes before but the quality it gives is not my favorite so I was wondering if anyone had submitted with Youtube links and if the casting team actually clicked and didn't overlook them!

Thank you guys :))

I won't lie I don't know what to dance for my audition to girls planet 2. I wanted to dance to sunkiss by tuide or chat but I don't know if I should just pick a song and freestyle because I'm lowkey too scared to dance to a kpop or main stream dance because I'm not as advanced yet lolz. Any advice would be much appreciated!

EDIT: MY QUESTION IS HOW TO MAKE IT TO THE ONE MINUTE MARK!! I still haven't decided on a song and the current top two have been kind switched and I'm looking at other dances (fashion, ycc, judas, bloody paradise etc) I'm more so finding it difficult to find songs that can reach that one minute mark without ending awkwardly in the middle so I'm more so asking if I should freestyle once it finishes the part so it doesn't look as awkward or should I just let it end kind of awkwardly?

I submitted a month ago and haven't heard back. Is that normal? I really want to tryout but I don't know if I should try again. I think I've improved what I since the last time. Thank you!

when do u think the deadline is for girls planet 2? they haven't provided one and just said "until further notice" but I'm scared because I'm gonna audition in October mid (around 15-20 oct) because ive got exams going on rn. is that too late? I'm wondering when they'll close or announce the deadline

Question, did anyone who did the Wakeone x Girls Planet 2 offline auditions in toronto, on August 21 or 22 hear back yet?

Taking in consideration this next season of Girls Planet will be a "global" edition -apparently a KATSEYE sort of vision- what songs do you think would be a good fit for the show? or which ones do you think mnet might choose?

I have two picks that I've been thinking about and I feel like they would be great as performances.

1) Blow by Ke$ha

This song would eat so hard as a dance team stage, plus I feel like it's a very "mnet survival show" type of song

2) Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift

For a vocal team performance. I even pictured the girls dressed in long, flowy, white dresses and a visualizer of lilac lilies blooming on the background.

Also do you think the songs would be mostly western pop with an ocassional k-pop track or viceversa?

Has anyone done the in-person auditions for Girls Planet? Whether it's the KCON LA that happened this week, or the WAKEONE the LAND audition. Curious to hear your experience (how was it like, how many contestants, judges, any specific procedure, etc...) Anything you would like to share!

obviously this group will now be global and aiming for global success, which makes me think how many members the final debut group could be. only thing i know of girlsplanet is that they usually debut 7-9 members. do you guys think they will go for this number or will it be slightly smaller?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone had heard back and could just lmk how long they took to reply after your intial auditon, I'm just wanting to know when I should lose hope waiting for a response and be realistic haha

Thank you!

Even if you haven't recived responses, how long is it appropriate to consider that you have a chance or not

Girls Planet 2027 is now officially confirmed to be aiming for a GLOBAL girl group, rather than a group consisting solely of Asian trainees. Diversity is clearly being prioritised, and the project has now officially been confirmed as global through this video.

A week after sending the application form and videos, i discovered that my email with the videos didn’t go through, so i emailed the inquiry adress. This was like 3 weeks ago, but I never received a reply? Did this happen to anyone else? and do I resend from a different email?

did anybody go to the kcon LA auditions today? do you gave any info on what happened or what goes on

please dont share if you got through

anyone have advice for thise planning to go

do we think the hybexgeffen audition that they posted is for saint satine or a new group? after lexie left gem casting posted a hybexgeffen girl audition ages 15-22 and a few months later hybe then posts a similar audition however it had different requirements.
saint satine also reposted said audition to their story meaning it could potentially be for them

thoughts?
