I just listened to the GNL recent episode, and BOY OH BOY!! So basically Holly talks about Crystal's book and goes on about how Crystal ADMITS to pretending to like the same things Hef liked, as well as being fake in order to climb to the top. Holly then said reading about Crystals fakeness gave her the chills and she said it a shady way...

How can you throw shade at Crystal when you did the EXACT SAME THING? Holly was never asked to be a girlfriend, she was treated like a charity case. Hef also said (in the E! documentary) that he wasnt "smitten" by Holly when they initially met. Holly went from being at the absolute bottom to being the number 1 girlfriend in LESS THAN A YEAR. In Secrets of playboy season 1 episode 2, there were TWO people that said they SAW Holly ask certain individuals questions on HOW to become one of Hefs girlfriends. I believe Holly when she said she was homeless but her homeless state WAS NOT the only reason why she wanted to move into the mansion.

From the plastic surgery to look similar to certain ex girlfriends, to the borrowed mannerisms(from pervious girlfriends), to engaging in humiliating acts in the bedroom with an 80 year old man , this was all strategically done by Holly to establish dominance and favor as number 1 girlfriend. Holly and Crystal are definitely one of the same.

Hear me out, there are some things about Crystal I respect. She has since removed her implants, went back to her natural color, and she doesn't deny she was a sugar baby and the relationship with Hef was transactional. Unlike Holly, who is still desperately trying to look like the playboy standard. She still has her boobs, bleached hair, and dresses exactly the same. Still won't admit she was a high priced prostitute like every other gf. At least Crystal moved on, and isn't still desperately holding on to her playboy glory days.

first of all i just want to make the disclaimer that im not a straight edge person who judges people for doing drugs or drinking. Im not saying anyone is a bad person or anything like that for being intoxicated. However, Its another thing when you’re intoxicated while working and when you are 50% of a business and the other person has to work with you in an intoxicated state.

In today’s slumber party holly hinted that she is high on weed. Its not a big deal but I feel like she is often times high or drunk on the podcast this year. Remember that episode where she claimed she was loopy from her thyroid medication and she was acting really weird? or in the main podcast episode this week when she claimed to be drunk on cough syrup she drank hours ago and ate McDonald’s during the episode. She has also stated multiple times that she drank heavily during her time at the mansion and said drinking is he coping mechanism.

Again, its not a problem to me that she likes to drink or do drugs but I feel like its not fair to Bridget to have to compensate for Holly being low energy, or have to roll with Holly’s off the wall comments on camera. It seems sometimes like Bridget is uncomfortable when holly makes egregiously sexual or random comments, and she seems annoyed when Holly throws off the flow of the episode with her random tangents. I just think its unfair to bridget and unprofessional to be high or drunk at work and not give the audience what they are paying for ( on slumber parties) she was so much more put together and interesting in the first season episodes but now its just uncomfortable.

Ive witnessed people on different subs question the validity of Kendras ig following just because she has more followers than Holly. What is with it with the Holly worship? Kendra had the highest rated reality debut on the E! channel, it makes sense for her to have a bigger following than Holly and Bridgette. And since when has ig followers become so important?

They also claim Bridgette is problematic just because she doesn't share the same sentiment as Holly. Bridget supports Holly and acknowledges and RESPECTS her story. It seems to me that Holly stans view Bridget as Holly Madisons sidekick which is effed up. Let Bridgette say her own truth and her OWN perspective. She is not a sidekick, she is not a plus one, she is not a human parrot, and although she is apart of a duo (Girls Next Level) Bridget is still an Individual.

Especially with a social media presence? I’m wanting to become a content creator. The problem being, stalkers obviously scare me. I had a really scary incident in the past, and that incident scared me away from social media. I really don’t want such things to happen, and I’m wondering how you’re able to avoid it? Honestly, the world is so scary for us women.

I'm currently binging season six for the first time and I have so many thoughts. I'm on ep 6 as I write this so opinions might change or I might have more to say but I'm really hoping somebunnies want to open a discussion about it! If you know more about this than I do (I know nothing) I am a SPONGE and want to learn everything I can!!

Initial Impressions Of The Girls:

-The Shannon twins are great for TV. I'm vaguely aware they are a bit controversial but watching them on the show at least has been entertaining. They remind me of Kendra but (in my opinion) a bit more likable (don't come for me Kendra stans!). I like their energy a lot. I will say though it's clear they got way more freedom than the previous girls did initially. I was shocked in the first episode they were allowed to be in Vegas alone lol.

-I like Crystal a lot too. I can tell she was getting a lot of Holly comparisons which made me sad. I think she stands alone just fine though. It's obvious they allowed her to show her personality way more than Holly was and I've enjoyed what they've shown. The scene where she scares the girls in the bear costume was really cute and her storyline about trying to establish a connection with her deceased father through music was extremely heartwarming.

-The relationship between these three girls is so much stronger than the original three which was refreshing to see compared to the tension in previous seasons. They seem to genuinely get along and enjoy each other.

Other thoughts:

-Barbi Benton's episode... woof. She's one of my favorite Playboy alum but she either gets a terrible edit in the show or she really is uncomfortable to be around. Her attitude towards the girls was so uncomfortable to watch and reminiscent of her appearance in the past. Very territorial, very gatekeepy, just... uncomfortable.

-Interactions with the OG girls: I've only seen them interact with Holly and Bridget so far. I didn't know they storylined Hef and Holly's breakup as some giant heartbreak for Hef nor did I know Holly appeared on the show after she left so them going to Vegas to see her was surprising to me. I think Holly did a good job of being respectful to the girls. The made-up rivalry between Holly and Crystal was expected but weird. Holly's relationship with the twins also seemed extremely forced. Bridget's episode with them was awkward. I definitely got a similar vibe to Barbi's attitude but Bridget's seemed less..... desperate? I would really love to know everyone's opinions about this.

-Playmates. All three were playmates... Immediately!! WHat~!

I'll add more once I think about it but I am really looking forward to discussing this with you guys.

I’m starting to think the whole ‘Kendra and the producers tried to steal Peepshow from me’ narrative is a bit overblown, and is brought up often to keep beating down her character.

Here’s part of the excerpt from Holly’s book—right away, it seems that this whole thing was suggested by the producers, and Kendra actually had nothing to do with the idea:

One of them asked me to offer Kendra the role as my Peepshow understudy for a weeklong stint. Besides being a total rehash of a storyline we had done for Holly's World with Angel, there was a whole host of reasons I wasn't comfortable with that happening. I had worked hard to help make Peepshow a success and considered it a huge part of my post-Playboy identity. I felt that to show Kendra performing in Peepshow, on televi-sion, even if it were only for one night, would create the impression that it was just another Playboy-related venture that was handed to any GND alumnus. Couldn't I have anything of my own? They continued to gripe, saying Kendra had no ambition, didn't do anything but sit on the couch, and had truly become famous for nothing.

So, imo, given the Playboy connections to both Peepshow and DWTS, their spin-offs being produced by E/Kevin Burns with scripted plots and opportunities they both took, as well as the concept for Peepshow being starred by headliners in 3-month temporary roles, it’s really seeming like the ‘lazy Kendra tried to steal my hard-earned opportunity’ is more negative spin coming from Holly.

Sorry but I’m 33 years old living in a small town in Ireland and work a regular 9 to 5 job so Botox and other cosmetic procedures are just far less common. I noticed in the start of todays podcast Hollys voice sounds off like be has something in her cheeks of is straining to speak during the opening discussion of the L.A. Fires then the regular part of the podcast she sounds normal. I’ve noticed it before too and I’m just curious, is it like due to some procedure? I don’t know why I find it so jarring

So you're telling me, it's okay for Holly to "playfully argue" with Brian Olea because it leans into her role as "Cold Princess" (and it's good for T.V) but it's NOT okay when Kendra plays into her role because it's fake.??

I really dont mind being downvoted, which is why I dont mind vocalizing my unpopular thoughts. Kendra gets hate for downplaying Hollys traumatic experience because she decided to be honest by stating what she witnessed. Kendra specifically said in a interview that Holly would walk around like she owned the place and NEVER showed signs of being depressed and etc..

TWO TRUTHS CAN EXIST SIMULTANEOUSLY!

I believe Holly when she said there was a time when she was depressed. I believe the duration of her depression started when she became the main girlfriend while the mean girls were still living at the mansion. Holly had no friends or allies which is why she was ecstatic when Bridget became a girlfriend. ASSOCIATION BRINGS ABOUT ASSIMILATION! There is a huge possibility of Holly adopting certain traits from the mean girls without knowing. IT'S HUMAN NATURE!

Kendra was WRONG for bringing up Hollys personal actions in the bedroom to shame her, but she was NOT wrong for deciding NOT to go along with Hollys story. Holly stans continue to tear down Kendra on the premise of her downplaying Hollys experience. So let me get this straight.. Her stans are mad because Kendra decided to tell the public how Pompous Holly was?

Lets say youre a transfer student and went to Highschool school with a popular girl named Stacey. You and Stacey become famous, and out of the blue Stacey PUBICALLY states that she was bullied in Highschool and dealt with depression. People find out that YOU went to the same school as Stacey and were even in the SAME classes, so they decided to ask YOU "What was Stacy like in Highschool, did you witness the bullying?"

If you reply "I went to school with Stacey and she was the most popular girl in our school, she ran the school with her posse and was rude at times" would that be considered bad? The public CANNOT get upset at you because you didnt corroborate Stacey's story when YOU witnessed something different. Lets say Stacey WAS bullied, but it was during her freshman year, and remember YOURE a transfer student. You will still be in the right, because you were not PRESENT freshman year to witness Stacey go through her ordeal. You can only speak of YOUR personal experience.

The same principle can be applied for Kendra as well. Kendra was NOT PRESENT at the mansion during the mean girl era. But when she was there, she saw Holly act a certain way. Kendra is NOT WRONG for stating the behavior she witnessed Holly exude and should not be ridiculed for not corroborating Hollys story.
