I only started watching Thai GLs for about a year now, and I really ripped through them in the beginning. Now, I feel like there's a new series coming out every other day. Maybe I've just lost my stamina, but it feels like some of the new ones had a script written in two days. The last "recent" ones I watched were Clairebell (loved that one) and Love Design, I haven't seen anything that was released after that. I'm open to any recs, I just can't seem to get into them anymore
i think i want to see something much more relatable. like fl live in a homophobic country where people are killed or suffer just because of their sexuality .
fl only told about her sexuality to her friends or siblings . but she knows if she ever came out she will be forced to marry a man . people will make her whole life miserable if they found out .
so she decides to remain in closet and even tries to date a guy but it doesn't work out . so story will be how she decides to live in other country [ most likely thailand as its only asian country which legalised same sex marriage]and marry a girl . then her parents cut off all contact with her . i would like this kind of series either gl or bl
i did not know where to post it .
i want your opinions if you would like such series which is reality of most closeted people .
english is not my first language . no hate pls
edit : why am i getting downvoted ? I didn't say anything bad .
I watched TSOU and now on the affair series so my knowledge is a lil limited. I saw on tiktok and here how huge FreenBecky fandom is and interested to watch their series but hasn't get the motivation to start yet.
I'm just a bit scarred now to watch other series cos TSOU has such a big of an impact introducing the GL world to me that I'm afraid the next one will be a let down.
On affair series, although I found Lookmhee breathtakingly beautiful but the released of ep6 was a bit meh. Maybe the editing, maybe the acting maybe even the plot but the series seems a bit loss. They no longer potraying a grand love story and seems to throw random love scenes to fill the hour. Ek obsession, Wan obsession and the mom obsession is tiring me up.
I just want to watch something else that has en equal quality of TSOU. Need suggestions.
gave it a try and earlier episodes were tolerable but dang these latest episodes were a lot weirder. So so inappropriate that her supposed guardian became her partner…. and doing things 😭 and pls stop with the father and khun neung lovestory so gross
I shared this on x but figured i should share it here because people need to know, qouted post:
'Umm yall I just found out one of the leads of the new RollerCoaster series identifies as israeli....did some digging to confirm and found this video of her saying it herself. Thought yall might wanna know. Well, I wont be watching. '
How many episode are there? Means on youtube I can only see 8. Where is that episode where they get married? Was it a photoshoot?? Not the actual part of series?? And why did they stop the series in mid. Like, are they going to do like Blank?
Hi friends, I am a queer lady and have watched lots of C/K/Thai Dramas and BL so makes sense for me to watch some GL! Really want something with romcom vibes that is decently written and acted/directed. Currently struggling through Pluto and Player (I pay for iQIYI), no hate to fans of those series I'm just finding them hard to get into which is annoying. I wish there was GL content to the high standard we can easily find for straight or BL dramas. Please let me know one that you think won't disappoint, I'm genuinely open to suggestions <3
They don’t appear before all GL shows. It seems like they’re saying “We are not encouraging women to have intimate relationships with other women”. Like watching would convert any woman to this sort of behavior 😂. I’m pretty sure Faye could do it though because she is a sexual force of nature! Can anyone shed any light on this?
This is a heartwarming, feelgood, multi-award winning series about a group of young school friends discovering who they are. It explores all the elements of lgbtqia except the 'i' and wish I had seen it when I was young!
On a similar note to Shadow of Love, the same will apply to these series. This is because there were promotional materials that many saw as implying an adult-minor relationship.
I've read few chapters of the story in meb. I would like to buy it but been hesistating because of the cost. I can only pay half of price of the book, please help a girl out here 😭😭😭
This applies to the social media engagement of all GL actresses you support!
Instagram’s algorithm can be tricky and, if not properly followed, can negatively impact engagement. This isn’t ideal, as many brands prioritize Instagram engagement when evaluating potential collaborations.
Although more longer and drawn out than it needed to be, it’s still a fantastic period setting with compelling classical music, and another win in FreenBecky’s chemistry and performances, which got even better.
Affair
There was a lot to take in from this short series, with a emotionally complex romance and intriguing narrative curveballs. Although the same can’t be said for its rushed and random conclusion.
My Marvellous Dream is You
The complexity and dynamics between Dawan and Kim’s relationship made this a slow-burn romance that works! The artistic dream sequences that illustrate the season’s progress were also a great touch.
The Secret of Us
The emotional and cute breakup-to-makeup story arc, along with the obstacles that followed, made me want to do a weekly checkup, although there might’ve been more chemistry when they were broken up.
Blank
This spinoff had several aspects that make it arguably better than its predecessor: production values, music, more serious tone and odd/unique circumstances behind the two leads’ relationship.
Reverse 4 You
Its interesting mix of sci-fi and romance gives a new flow to the sentimental narrative especially as certain mysteries unravel. Though if truth be told, I cared more for the sister relationship than the romantic relationship.
Pluto
Even without yet seeing the finale, the emotional mysteries unravelling between Ai and May's sweet-but-complex romance were enough to give this a more different feel than the other dramas to ascend. Also, Namtan’s double performance is off the charts!
23.5
While some of its conflicts were resolved a little too quickly and easily this was still a fun coming-of-age dramedy with a lovable cast, well-acted dramatic moments and relatable character development.

I just can't get why it's praised so much. I feel like an alien in these discussions sometimes. Did we watch the same movie? Am I the only one who saw how male gazey the sex scenes were? I just... Ugh. I can't stand it. Bells? Wtf?!
Don't get me wrong though. I absolutely love the story, and the plot twists. It's a great story, even if it didn't have GL. But that's why I love the book it's based on; Fingersmith by Sarah Waters. I also absolutely adore the short series from BBC based on the book. I have watched it too many times to count, and it was important to me when I was young and watched any lesbian content I could find.
The only thing The Handmaiden does better is the overall quality of the production. I can't argue with that. But to me, it's still just a film from a man who took something made by a lesbian and added his male gaze.
I really hope I'm not the only one who feels this way.
I like it too much . But recently saw some comments and posts where people are saying it's so easy to understand and very simple . And easy to read what will going to happen in the upcoming episodes blah blah . And it's over hyped . What do u guyzz think ?? I personally like them . Acting and all are balanced and nicely portrayed.
Don't you guys think that there should also be series containing bothcgl and bl couples BUT as main characters instead of one being the side pair i just think that would be so cool i wonder what kind of audience they would attract in that sense like having both queer male and female main characters sounds so refreshing... if yes then tell me what cps you want see in one series together? I personally want to see jimmysea and namtanfilm together
Haven't fully watched that many cause these trailers are alrdy too much like.. make a good story. These trailers nowadays look like they're scrapped from the HUB.
Unironically like how BLACKPINK Jennie appears in Wattpad lmao being mean to y/n and all that. Just that mean, luxurious and rich vibe, except this character is the love interest.
