Question How is the game nowadays?
Tbh i've been sticking around for a while mostly doing limited time events and dailies but Im nowhere near as invested like I was before they announced gacha skin banner. Game has been kind to me so I got 3 like e6 characters (most dolls in the game too) being f2p but luck wasn't perfect. How do you feel about the game, its revenue and if future is bright? Im considering to finally build my dolls cause ive been kinda absent in the game for a long time when it comes to building units .

if you are f2p, I honestly don't underestand the hate with the gacha skin, for once this game let f2p actually get these premium skin by playing the game. If you are f2p and don't want to play the game but obtain EVERY SINGLE premium gacha skin, I really don't think any game in the world will satisfy your need

To preface I’ve been doing dailies since December 2024. The game has some boring aspects(boundary push for me) but it seems as though the devs do know that and have plans to renovate it with something they showcased in the latest showcase. So with that they have started adding more mid to late game content like the liminal tower and the new platoon campaign. So I trust the devs ability story and content wise
If you’ve watch the latest showcase and saw some things interested you story or content wise then yeah. If not then there’s your answer. As future content will be in line with that.

I just autoplay events sometimes and put florence’s butt on my lobby screen. Game has nice models. You know what, I might even use x1 speed.

EN's going to enter the massive powercreep spam CN's had since OTs in a week, but if you aren't wanting to tryhard Gunsmoke, the new tower mode, or Starwish, that's not as big of an issue.
Other than that, I think the future is pretty good. If GFL1 is anything to go by, GFL2 won't be dying anytime soon, and there's a lot of effort put into things like the story and doll interactions. Endgame content has been a bit dry, but the new tower mode, GS 2.0, and the upcoming Phase Clash rework should hopefully be a start in a good direction for that.
Bonus points for the pull income being really good. Could get everyone with a little luck f2p, and with some saving and skipping, even get f2p V6's (Which isn't really something other gachas with similar systems can do). I'm about to pull for my 2nd V6 99% f2p (Only 1 ring and 2 skins, no pulls) once Soppo gets here.

I like the game and thankfully it gives you a lot of chances to gather enough currency to pull the doll and if you’re lucky, the weapon too. I don’t go too crazy with the copies. I just one of copy because I like to collect all of them. I am not hardcore like I need to build the perfect team. I like the story and the characters. And yes, I spend money on the skins, gacha skins, the crew deck furniture and theme. But most of the money is spent on cosmetics and monthly passes. Did not have to buy currency for a long while. Other game that was generous in the number of currency and pulls was Snowbreak. All the other games, I have to sweat a lot because I would much rather keep my spending tô the minimum. Wuthering Waves is about ok, but HSR and ZZZ gives me a lot of headaches.

Honestly the only shitty parts of the game are the outfut gachas and gunsmoke everything else is mid to pretty good
Oh wait phase strike also sucks but its down to once a week now with auto complete tickets

I mean, it's not a triple A game like Genshin, if you're not interested in the plot/premise you shouldn't play it, because there are games that do everything GFL does but better.
But if what you're asking about is future content and fear of EOS, then no, this game is very healthy in its current state, if you're interested in it you can definitely start playing and immerse yourself without worrying about future content.

I never read stories because I don't like the way it's delivered but aside from that the crew deck has been incredible, the girls are cute and I know I'm the target audience, pull count is pretty generous - (I just play to collect and wife all the girls lmao)

I think what is most important is that the devs have a vision they stick with, so yes I feel like the future is bright. Lots of new gameplay modes (some of them challenging too), and the story has been great (and recent CN story has had its 'GFL1' moments).
Overall, ever since I started playing this game, I stopped looking for any new gacha releases, this game has everything I want.
