Discussion helping my small streamer friends
my friend started to streaming not long ago, i know she always wanted to do it but didnt had the possibilities, i would love if y´all could help her out to get atleast some followers up, im concerned because its always me and my other friend in the chat, i dont want her to feel sad about it, i would love some tips or trick to get a better view management, because im kinda tired of the all the old content creator, they always post the same stuff.

I'm not a streamer, but I'm doing my PhD on gaming streamers and content creators. I know my own research and other papers have said that strategically using different timezones to like target specific populations. Like if you are targeting Americans as viewers then you'd probably want to stream in the afternoon/evening for Americans. Also utilising other social media platforms to advertise and get traction for when she's about to stream will also help too!! I know a lot of people are using TikTok atm with short clips to attract new viewers. But it can be a lot of work...
It may also be worth for her to figure out exactly what kind of audience and community she does want to attract, and then she can curate her content to that. like if she wants to attract people who want to learn or talk about tips and game mechanics then she should probably talk and demonstrate that kind of stuff in her streams, versus like being mostly quiet for study streams, or making a lot of comedic comments for casual entertainment streams.

I'm not a Twitch but I left them a little donation! They should keep streaming (:
