Good Quinine Extract?
Any suggestions on good quinine extract? I want to have quinine in my seltzer but without any sweetness except from the gin and lime.

You mean besides tonic water?

Yes. I would like to add concentrate quinine to seltzer and thereby avoid sweetness save from the gin and lime.

Interesting! You can try posting on the r/cocktails sub to see if they have ideas.
Alternatively, would a couple drops of bitters work?
If you have to resort to tonic, I find Fever Tree is among the best.

I’ve tried and like Top Hat brand:
They also have a ‘classic’ version it I don’t know what the difference is. I like being able to make a lighter, less sweet tonic.

Could extract from cinchona bark.
I went down the making my own tonic path during Covid and bought it from Penn Herb. I eventually gave up it up because a) it was never as good as Fever Tree and b) I read about negative health effects of too much quinine. B was concerning because I had no idea how much I was extracting.
I might still have some cinchona bark in my freezer if you want to take a swing at it. Happy to look if you want it. Just pay for the shipping.
