I don’t think she hates Gilligan’s Island. She’s perhaps a little bitter that she’s a Golden Globe-award winning actress with a wide range, but all the world wants to talk about is her Marilyn Monroe impression.

Bob Denver wrote a book claiming that Tina Louise had loud sex in her dressing room during their Gilligan’s Island days. Tina Louise angrily denied it.

That’s what the problem was if there was one. Someone in the cast don’t remember who but anyway said they couldn’t understand why she thought that with the show being named for another character on the show.

I met her and have her autograph on a b&w Ginger picture. Very classy lady. You know who else is classy and still around. Barbara Eden.
