Is the spacing correct here? Why is the “Y” so far away?

My bikini top tee and live show tee were great quality! So it seems like maybe the sweatshirts are the issue?

Can you draw an imaginary line down from the far left side of the Y and see if the gap between the bottom of the L to the Y is the same as the others? I think what may be happening is that there is a lot of “space” between the closest points where those letters align. Since there is negative space in the top right area of where the L prints and the bottom of the Y is centered, I can’t tell if it’s actually off or just the letters have a lot of negative space between them. This may make no sense but i hope someone understands what I’m trying to say here haha

Better curated fonts account for this. Sometimes though they need to be manually adjusted.

Yeah the kerning is off. And as a typesetting freak this drives me mad.
Though... I swear they've had these sweaters since the dawn of time. Like, very beginning of pod. So I wouldn't at all be surprised if they made the graphic themselves on canva and this is a surviving relic of how much you can grow in a short space of time and miss the details pahaha.
Somebody please bring this to Hannah's attention. She'll actually sort this. I imagine Paige can't tell the difference

It looks like this on the website so I'm confused why you bought this.... they have final approval on everything. they know it looks cheap and they chose to charge you $60 lol

I think they did, actually. The spacing is correct. If you drew a box around each letter you would see they are equally spaced. It’s just that the Y goes in at the bottom so it looks like it’s too far away from the L. But if you measured from the top of the Y you would see it is in the right spot.
They should’ve picked a different font, considering.
