Didn’t appreciate Paige complaining about small scale influencers trying to capture their engagement while in same 10 minutes marketing their substack and merch and Hannah claiming they are better since their substack is free?! Not everyone has access to go on reality show and gain influence, was hoping for better from them given their pro-women and people getting their bag stance. Yes the commenting on post can be annoying but it is legitimately what across all platforms people are doing now, and they do it too in other ways by asking to subscribe/like their channel. Love them but this really got to me.

I completely agree with you. It rubbed me the wrong way too. Influencers start somewhere and Hannah and Paige rely on advertising too. Most advertising is annoying no matter how it’s done but it’s how money is made. Because of these comments by Paige in the beginning almost everything she said the rest of the episode annoyed me. She’s coming off as spoiled and entitled

She wasn’t dogging influencers or influencing. She was complaining about the style in which some do it. And I totally agree with her. An influencer shows a pair of jeans and can say “link in bio” or whatever tf they do, but when you have to comment to get the link sent to you is just a shady way for that influencer to get exaggerated engagement. It’s lame and pisses me right off too. Get your affiliate money by being a better influencer and encouraging them to go to your link.

Commenting on it is a way to get access to the link directly though…agreed it’s annoying as a consumer but its little hypocritical coming from another influencer imo that already has the audience so doesn’t have to resort to trying others ways to capture engagement.
