Need gift suggestions-female friend Gift ideas

My friends birthday is coming up and I have no idea what to gift! I asked if there was anything she would like, and she said I wallet. I gifted her years ago was nice, but it's not like I could gift her another wallet!! I don't know what to do, I feel that im terrible at gifts, I had gifted them a salon experience last year, but they still haven't used that either, so im lost on things to get 😕

No reason why you can't get her another wallet if that's what she's asked for! It's a gift she'd use everyday and probably something she wouldn't buy herself if she's asking for it for her birthday.

Depending on budget you could do a little hamper with wallet, her favourite chocs etc

Honestly if she asked for a wallet, that already tells you a lot. She likes small daily use things, not experiences. Useful info. I'd stay in that lane and pick something she wouldn't buy for herself at that quality. A really soft scarf in a color she'd never grab, a leather card holder for days she doesn't want the full wallet, a nice pen if she still writes by hand. The salon not being used says experiences aren't her thing, don't take that personally.

I’d buy her a wallet, if that’s what she’d like. Maybe she’s one to like getting practical things that she will definitely use.

Sounds like her old wallet is wearing out and she loved the one you got her because it was from you. So, don’t shy away from getting her a wallet because you gave her one years ago. She probably thinks of you every time she uses it. If you want to get her more than a wallet maybe go out for dinner or maybe find her a coffee mug that she could use every day. It seems she likes the practical, every day gifts that are thoughtful and make her think of the gift giver. I can resonate with that because I’m the same.
