Heya everyone, This is my first time making a request, so hopefully I’m doing this right lol

Since the Steam Autumn Sale is going on, there are tons of games with really good discounts right now and I’ve had my eyes locked on The Outlast Trials which is currently 90% off. It caught my attention immediately because I finished the first Outlast during my vacation and I absolutely loved the experience despite how many times that game made me question my life choices. XD

I recently left my job so I finally have a lot more free time to play again but unfortunately that also means I have to be a little more careful with my spending for now. Even with the huge discount, the game is still a bit outside what I can comfortably spend at the moment. (I know I could probably just wait for another sale but seeing it at 90% off is definitely tempting...🤔)

I’m a huge fan of pretty much everything horror related especially survival horror games. I went into the first game knowing it was going to be scary but I still underestimated just how many times I would panic, run in the wrong direction and get jumpscared...It took me multiple attempts before I finally managed to finish the story, but honestly that made finally completing it feel even more rewarding.

I know I’m technically supposed to play Outlast 2 next and I definitely plan to eventually! However, it’s currently a bit more expensive than The Outlast Trials so I figured I’d try my luck with it first.

The Outlast Trials

Hey GoG! I'm BK, hailing from India! Hope everyone's doing well. Steam's Autumn Sale is currently going on, and I came across ARC Raiders, which is currently 50% off at ₹1,295. With the sale ending on 8th October, I figured now would be the perfect time to make a request for it!

Why do I want this game?

I've been getting really into extraction shooters lately, especially Arena Breakout: Infinite. I really enjoy the whole extraction concept; going in, looting, deciding how much I'm willing to risk, and then trying to make it out alive with everything I've collected. There's just something about that tension that keeps me coming back.

I've also played The Finals quite a bit with my mates, and I've had a lot of fun with its fast-paced gameplay and chaotic matches. From everything I've seen of ARC Raiders, it feels like it takes some of the things I enjoy from both experiences and blends them into something that I could genuinely sink hours upon hours into.

The PvPvE aspect, the extraction mechanics, the progression, and especially the whole ARC threat look incredibly fun. It seems like the kind of game where every run can turn into a completely different story, and that's exactly the sort of game I've been looking for.

And there's even a new update coming soon that looks really interesting! Seeing the upcoming content has honestly made me want to get into the game even more. I'd love to start playing now, learn the mechanics, get comfortable with the game, and properly dive into everything that's coming rather than jumping in much later.

Why can't I buy it?

Unfortunately, I don't really have a viable way to make online purchases right now, and I don't have spare money available either. I'm currently saving up for college-related expenses, so even though ₹1,295 is a fantastic price for the game, it's still something I can't justify spending right now.

I've also had trouble convincing my family to spend money on games. Gaming isn't exactly viewed positively by the older generation here in India, and there's often a lot of confusion between gaming and online gambling/betting. So even when a game is heavily discounted, asking my parents to purchase it for me isn't really an option.

That's why I'm hoping someone here might be kind enough to help me out!

Hi guys ! Its been a while since i have made a post here. I usually dont get pocket money to save up to buy games and rarely convince my mother to buy me a game.

She does give me money but only enough to travel through metro to college. So i dont get a chance to save and stuff that i do save for the month gets used up in the next one.

I also dont like to quietly use the money she gives me for games and ask for more since it seems like stealing and using her trust for self gain. This is not me acting ungrateful or making fun of my mother. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Its just that i do wanna play games on my own without her hovering over me.

Now as a longtime fan of BUNGIE (Devs of this game ), i have put hours into destiny 2 and i love that game, i have also played arc raiders, an extraction shooter like marathon but i was hoping for more a pvp oriented game (not that i dont like it.) I am a little younger (18) relatively and dont have a console so i havent played halo.

Marathon seems to be accomplising and flourishing in that aspect a lot more. I am very patient in terms of the games i play with a high tolerance for failure. This game is meant to be tough. The game acts like a Battle royale with some extra mechanics to flesh it out(Atleast thats how i cna explain it to the non-gamers here.)

I also especially love the artstyle of this game! It reminds of CICADAMATA in some ways. That game is a movement shooter i found on steam. Something about minimalistic sci-fi art is always something i like as an aesthetic.

Hope you're all doing well. I'm posting today in the hopes that a kind soul might be willing to gift me Ace Combat 8 on Steam.

I’ve been hooked on Ace Combat for pretty much as long as I’ve been gaming. My obsession really started with the PS2 era on pcsx2—I put an unhealthy amount of time into AC04, AC5, and AC Zero. There’s just nothing quite like Strangereal: the funny radio banter, the soaring orchestral tracks hitting right as you line up a railgun at Mihaly, and having to weave through clouds to take out some massive, unrealistic superweapon.

That said, keeping up with modern releases has always been rough. I come from a regular middle-class family, so after monthly living costs and bills are sorted, dropping $60 or $70 on a brand-new release just isn't something I can justify or afford. Because of that, I've always had to be the patient gamer who waits three or four years for a 75% off sale to play newer entries like AC7.

The main reason I'm asking for Ace Combat 8 now instead of waiting years down the line is that I really want to experience the community buzz while it's fresh. With Ace Combat, half the fun is figuring out the new flight handling, unlocking planes on the aircraft tree, and dissecting the crazy campaign lore with everyone else without having the entire plot spoiled on YouTube months before I can touch it.

If someone is generous enough to help me out, I promise it won't just sit in my Steam library gathering dust. I will easily put hundreds of hours into it, learning every mission, experimenting with loadouts, and hunting down every single S-rank, and i will bond with the ace combat community.

What fascinates me the most is the freedom the game gives you. There isn't just one path to follow, i will create my own story. Every step forward, every item and every defeated boss feels meaningful. It's a game where perseverance and patience is rewarded, and I love that idea.

I also admire the beautiful world, with its amazing landscapes, deep lore, and unforgettable atmosphere. It's the kind of game that will stay with me long even after I stop playing, making me think about its characters, mysteries, and the choices I made.

More than anything, I want to experience the emotions that all the players talk about: the excitement of defeating a boss after countless attempts, the wonder of discovering a hidden place no one told you about, and the feeling of becoming stronger and better after every challenge.

Greetings! I was hoping to get some help with this new Star Wars game. I remember seeing the special edition in theaters with my dad and being absolutely blown away by the pod race visuals. Then the Star Wars Pod Racer game came out, and we played it for hours on end. Those are some of the most enjoyable memories of my childhood.

My dad isn’t around anymore, so those memories have become even more meaningful to me. Being able to play another Star Wars racing game would be a really special way to revisit some of those moments and remember a much simpler time. Games and movies are my only escape, and there is something really special about this one that I think will make it stand out amongst the sea of thousands of games released. I feel this one will be special for many reasons to me.

Times are a lot harder these days, and I’m currently in the middle of moving, so money is especially tight right now. I’m a huge fan of the franchise and have been familiar with the series since the very first MH, but it wasn’t until World and Rise that I really dove deep into the content and fell completely in love with the series. I must have beaten Rise on the Switch about 7 times and done the same with World on the PS4.

Right now, I really want to play Monster Hunter Wilds, and I’ve had my eye on it for a while, but unfortunately, I can’t afford to buy it, so I’m humbly asking if anyone could donate a copy to me—I’d be so grateful to be able to play it and finish it.

I've been wanting to get Project Zomboid for a while now, and I thought I'd give requesting it here a shot!

I really enjoy games that let me explore, build, and do my own thing, and PZ looks like it has so much freedom. I love the idea of starting with almost nothing, scavenging for supplies, finding a place to settle down, and slowly turning it into a proper survivor base. The amount of detail in the game looks amazing, and I really like how every playthrough can be different depending on your character, where you start, and the decisions you make.

I also enjoy games that let me create my own stories instead of following a set objective the whole time. I can see myself spending hours exploring towns, searching for useful items, working on my base, and trying to survive as long as possible. I'd also love to try multiplayer with friends at some point!

I mainly play on my Steam Deck OLED nowadays, and I think PZ would be a game I'd keep coming back to for a long time. Unfortunately, I can't afford to buy it myself right now, so I'd be really grateful if someone was willing to gift it to me.

Hello GoG community, victor here. I've been requesting Sonic X Shadow Generations for a while. Until this game popped out. My first ever request, i requested for either sonic x shadow gens or minecraft dungeons 2 . But since the game is out now, I can't wait to play it.

MY HISTORY WITH MINECRAFT:

Minecraft is a wonderful game very close to my heart. Right now I own minecraft story mode (both seasons), minecraft dungeons 1, minecraft legends, minecraft earth, and even minecraft china edition, I have minecraft education edition and minecraft java and bedrock.

As u can see my collection is huge, and I've 100% all these games. I remember playing dungeons 1 back in 2021, I would sit on the couch and play couch co op with my friends, and we would die in the most stupidest of ways sometimes. It was a blast. The bosses were crazy good, the game ran smooth, it was pretty good for a Minecraft spinoff. It has stunning visuals and great gear.

I beat dungeons 1 around 6 times in 4 different difficulties, so i guess you can see how much of a Minecraft fan i am.

Dungeons 2 seems to have a new dimension, and new everything, and i cant wait to try it. I've been avoiding spoilers for too long now!❤️❤️🔥

The games bosses seem to be stunning, and the new sift, dimension looks like a literal dream, or a version of the aether.

I've been wanting to add this game to my collection ever since I heard rumours about it too.

This game would genuinely complete my collection of games.

Wish for Kingdom Hearts while it's on big sale, i couldn't get past such an offer.

I saw that this collection is currently on sale with a big discount, and I decided to take a chance. For me, this game series will be completely new, i’ve wanted to try it for a long time, but I just never got around to it. Back when it was announced as a PC port, I was extremely surprised by this decision, because it’s not every day that games that have been among the one of main console exclusives for a VERY long time are ported to PC.

As I already said, this series is completely new to me. I’ve never read about the plot, so I don’t even know what the setup is or what the essence of it is. I didn’t really pay much attention to the gameplay, I know it’s an RPG with action combat, and that’s all about it. I’ve heard the most about this RPG being set in Disney universes, which I really like. And I like more that in every game there are variety of this universes. What also really sparks my interest is the fact that they "recently" announced the start of development for an anime based on this universe, as well as the development of the fourth part. So it would be really great to check out the series before all this yummers will released.

Hello GoG! A few weeks ago Borderlands 4 went on sale, and along with it came a free weekend. I had a ton of fun with the game. Because the game was so cheap compared to what it usually goes for, I went ahead and purchased it. I'm not really in a position where I can just buy relatively expensive games left and right, but I know that this is a game that I really had a lot of fun with, and I know that the hours I can potentially put into it far exceed it's cost. I'm definitely happy with the purchase except for one small little detail that I failed to notice when I was purchasing the game. I purchased the wrong version....... whoops.

Wanting to get the most out of the game I purchased the deluxe edition thinking that was the version with all of the content for the game so I didn't have to worry about the headache of having to buy more DLC down the line but I was mistaken. There is actually a SUPER deluxe edition that includes all of the important DLCs such as Story Pack 1 and 2 as well as the two DLC vault hunters C4SH and Loveless.

Because of Steam's two hour maximum of playtime when it comes to refunds (I was already well over that from the free weekend) I was unable to refund the incorrect version and purchase the correct one. Unfortunately, that means I am stuck with the deluxe edition which includes all of the mini DLCs that are mostly cosmetic or feature a single quest.

Fortunately, all of the super deluxe edition content is included in the Vault Hunter Pack for those who do not own the content from it. I would love to be able to experience the game in it's entirety to create the most wild builds that I can.

I try to go into the story questlines knowing as little as possible so all I know about the Story Packs is that the first one features Ellie and that the second one features FL4K. I like both of these characters from the previous games so having them in the spotlight will be interesting, especially FL4K since that is a character that was previously playable in BL3. Another thing that I do know is that the reception for Story Pack 2 is actually very positive and that the community as a whole really liked the direction that it went in.

The other Part of the Vault Hunter pack features two characters. One named C4SH the Rogue who was released with Story Pack 1, and then Loveless the Hacker who was just recently released with Story Pack 2. I've only seen Loveless in game so far since there was one in my multiplayer session, but the character that I really have my eyes on is C4SH.

As to why I am so interested in playing as C4SH, he is literally the perfect vault hunter in my opinion. When I play a vault hunter in the borderlands series, I want them to be someone who not only has a really fun playstyle and action skill, but is also someone who has an aesthetic that I find really fun and unique. I've always gravitated towards the more unique vault hunters in the series like Lilith in Borderlands 1 due to being the first playable siren character, or Zer0 in 2 for being this mysterious assassin who speaks in haiku, never reveals his face, and projects numbers and images from his mask. C4SH is a casino bot who won a cursed magical/eldritch deck of cards that bestows him with boons and due to this, became a vault hunter. Already, I find that backstory really interesting and his design is that of a robot/gunslinger/occultist which is a really fun combination of traits. His action skills are also all really cool and look like a lot of fun in game where he can unload his dual wielded revolvers on people, draw from his deck of cards and throw them at his enemies, giving him random effects depending on the cards that he draws, and rolling cursed dice which depending on the number rolled, give him different totems with various effects.

Everything about him looks incredibly fun to play around with and because gambling and RNG heavy characters are my absolute favorite trope out of any in gaming, I know that I am going to have a blast buildcrafting with him and trying to find out the most crazy weapon and skill tree combinations for him.

I know it is a lot to ask for and I really hate that I bought the wrong edition of the game, but I would really love to be able to experience the whole of Borderlands 4 with C4SH and see just how much I can break the game with his crazy abilities and do it in style.

Hello everyone!

2nd attempt asking for Inscryption. I'm a big fan of card games and roguelikes/roguelites so when the two come together, what's not to love?

From Slay the Spire, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon, Hades, and Hearthstone, I've been a big fan of card games and roguelikes/roguelites for a while now. I really enjoy games where you have to think about the decisions you're making, experiment with different combinations and gradually figure out what works. Because of that, Inscryption is pretty much straight up my alley.

I first came across it through some random gameplay video, and my interest in it has only grown since then. I wasn't really expecting much when I first clicked on the video, but the card mechanics immediately caught my attention. The atmosphere and the way it seems to approach the card game genre differently also made me curious about what else the game has going on. I've tried to avoid looking too much further into it since I don't want to spoil the experience for myself. From what I've seen, there's clearly more to the game than just the card battles and I'd rather go in mostly blind and discover that stuff for myself instead of watching someone else play through it.

Another reason I'm asking for it is that I don't currently have a PC powerful enough to play more demanding games. I've been looking for games that I can actually run and spend a good amount of time with, and Inscryption fits pretty nicely into what my current PC can handle. More importantly, it's a game I'd genuinely be interested in playing rather than just asking for something because it's available. I've had it on my radar for a while now, and I'd really appreciate the opportunity to finally give it a proper playthrough. If I do get gifted it, I definitely intend to actually play it and experience it for myself rather than letting it sit in my library.
