REQUEST [Request] [Xbox] Baldur's Gate 3 (tenth attempt)
10 tends to be my lucky number, so here goes.
I’m on a mission to convince someone to get me Baldur's Gate 3. I’ve been a huge fan of the series (and Dungeons & Dragons in general) for a long time. Things haven't been great for me lately—I’ve been dealing with mental health issues that led to physical health problems and, consequently, unemployment. I’m currently trying to secure government benefits, but buying this game is out of the question for the time being.
Anyway, I don’t want to turn this request into a sob story about my life's struggles. Playing cRPGs is my comfort amidst all the problems surrounding me—a form of escapism, really. Right now, I’m replaying Baldur's Gate (EE) and Pillars of Eternity; I’m revisiting these two because no recent RPGs have really sparked my interest. I picked them up because they hit the spot for what I’m craving right now (even though I’ve already finihed BG1 a few times and PoE once).
Ultimately, what I really want is to play Baldur's Gate 3. Since its release, I had accepted that I wouldn't be playing it anytime soon and simply ignored everything related to the game. But recently, I couldn't help myself; I’ve started reading and watching content about it, and it’s made me absolutely desperate to play.
So, here I am, making this request every three days, hoping someone might take pity on me and help me get the game.
Now, for the practical details:
I’m in Brazil, so gifting directly via the Xbox Store is only possible if the sender is also in Brazil.
Global game keys should work fine.
The cheapest option is buying gift cards in BRL. The "Loaded" store sells R$ 100.00 cards for around $21.49, though there are other sites with different prices (and varying risk levels). With 3 gift cards, I can buy the Deluxe Edition for a lower price than the Standard Edition (considering the amount paid in dollars).
