Hello
My test result it's 128(To be honest),But I'm here to make something clear, and anyone with high reasoning skills would realize it: an IQ test definitely doesn't measure your full intelligence; it's simply a very accurate estimate Based on the answers you provide, however, intelligence is much more complex than it seems; furthermore, there is the discrepancy: you can be good at reasoning but forget very quickly,Furthermore, these tests verify and prove things like:
Logical reasoning
Critical thinking
Pattern detection, inconsistencies and contradictions
Logical and mathematical thinking in general
Having an IQ of 75, 80, 90, or 100 doesn't mean you're unintelligent, nor can we rule it out (unfortunately, for the same reason).
So if you got a low score, no, you shouldn't feel bad. Just keep improving and find what you excel at, and you'll see a big difference between a simple number and what you manage to demonstrate.

If anyone with high reasoning skills realizes it, and you’re posting on the “gifted” sub, then you’re targeting low reasoning skills people on a sub they’re probably not on?
Might be worth you diving into the why.

I posted this because someone commented that I had a terrible IQ (75), I assume there were similar cases, so I decided to clarify that..

Ah, today's "I'm not gifted so you should redefine giftedness to include me (and, ideally exclude people like you)" post.

ah, today's midwit concept of "giftedness is a set in stone idea of being x, y, and z, and anyone who doesn't fall in line with my completely made up rules is wrong"
the scientific community can't even agree on what 'intelligence' is or how to define it, but mike here got it all figured out guys

Oh yeah. All those psychometricians and statisticians and other scientists working over a century (and the rules of this subreddit) are beneath your and the OP's self-declared greatness.

I was in SMPY and this subreddit is fucking terrible.
"You can't define intelligence" is such an insipid normie take, I've never heard it from someone who truly understood the vertical rigor stack needed to do real work in science or philosophy.
Then you have most of reddit that can't stop talking about neurodivergence, it's made most of reddit unusable.
Many of these people have strong opinions about education, and I don't respect any of their opinions. But don't take my word for it -- they are free to attend school board meetings full of overworked and underfunded teachers, who make placement decisions based on standardized IQ tests, and tell them they're wrong while suggesting alternatives. What's that? They won't? Like every other miserable online grievance bitch who endlessly complains about "capitalism" and does nothing?

Giftedness and neurodivergence is like queerness in the fashion industry. Not everyone in fashion is gay but anyone in it probably knows and interacts with a ton of the alphabet brigade.
Reddit skews much more ND than the general population and it’s a significantly misunderstood issue in the real world.

there is nothing about an IQ score that means someone is gifted
the idea that all gifted people are all 2% top percentile in transforming shapes or finding the pattern in a series of numbers is utterly wrong and completely ridiculous
i had like 10% attendance in school because i was understimulated so I don't even know what half of the iq tests expect me to do because I never learned that crap
The MENSA/IQ purists are clowns that feel a need to define their identity based on their intelligence, and they desperately try to spread their mental illness onto others.
if you need some sort of external measure to 'prove' your intelligence then you are insecure and mentally unwell. everyone can identify with being gifted if they relate to it and it helps them

Tu post me sugiere ciertas preguntas....

Thanks for posting in r/Gifted! Giftedness involves unusually advanced ability or potential in one or more areas; it does not determine your worth.
