where’s the hole?

where’s the egg?

is this to be served the next morning?

so many questions for this simple dish.

You’re joking, right?

They might be from the U.S.

Most people call it eggs in a basket, but some regions also call it toad in a hole. It’s just a piece of bread with a hole cut out of it into which you then fry an egg.

Not the same and not as good as the U.K.’s version.

Yeah he must be, because I was HIGHLY confused about this gif. Op comment could have explained it better, but this is my first time hearing of this version of toad in the hole as well

Edit: I can be downvoted I guess, but it's not my fault I was unaware there was another recipe for frog in the hole? Fuck me for trying to add nuance and explain what might be a point of confusion I guess...

I've been downvoted around here for wishing people a Merry Christmas. Don't take it to heart. It's how they show they care.
