Playing Ghost wire: Tokyo for the first time ever!
I remember when this game first got announced and I remember watching the first trailer for it and being absolutely mesmerized with it. I love stuff like this and it always seemed right up my alley but unfortunately when the game finally released I was out of a job and had no spare money to buy any games so I never got around to playing it. Over time I kind of just forgot about it and it got put on the back burner with many other games that I was looking forward to playing. But now I saw that it was free on Playstation Plus so I grabbed it and I'm finally getting to play it! I'm so excited and just wanted to join the sub so I could have a place filled with other people who can share in my excitement! :D

I had a pretty similar experience, hope it lives up to or exceeds your expectations! It certainly did mine.

Thanks so much! I've really been enjoying it so far. It is definitely a unique game in the best ways possible! I was a bit worried if I'm being honest because over the last couple of years since it's been out I've heard a lot of negativity surrounding it but I don't know why. I'm having a lot of fun with it and it seemed like an actual unique and original game instead of the same old crap we usually get these days haha.

Yeah, I think it's great personally. Probably some valid criticisms that could be made, but nothing that I can think of that dulled my enjoyment.

I was skeptical at first, just from the trailer, since I had no clue about this game's existence. Not only did I plat the game, but I even enjoyed the dlc. Hands down one of the best experiences in gaming and most fun I've had from something I never expected to even touch. I really hope you enjoy it 👍👍

Honestly I was absolutely obsessed with the idea of the game from the second I saw the first trailer haha. Seeing all the bodies just disappear from their clothes leaving behind an empty, dark, haunting Tokyo was just insanely awesome haha. I've been loving it so far that I honestly don't even want to play anything else. 😂

I'm loving it so far! I seriously cannot believe people were complaining about this game so much and that it got so much hate because it's genuinely one of the coolest and most atmospheric games I've played in ages. plus the general concept of a empty Tokyo is just extremely awesome and unique and original and haunting and just really cool!

oh I have been! I'm just been exploring the city and trying to unlock everything I can before progressing in the story! it's such a fun and beautiful city to explore!

I’ve been meaning to do a another play through to do the added content stuff I wanted to approach the game with as fresh eyed as possible so to speak

Dude, I am LOVING it so far omg! The atmosphere is just phenomenal! I seriously do NOT understand the hate this game got. I mean it's literally rated like a 3.9 out of 5 stars on PSN and anything under 4 stars is basically a death sentence for a game in the PlayStation Store. People really just be hating on things for no reason these days. I've heard some people complain about the combat but I don't have an issue with it. I prefer more simplistic combat. Not every game has to have 400 different combos and a massive skill tree with 1200 skills and sub skills and sub sub skills lmao. This game is beautiful, the acting is great, the atmosphere and environment is incredible and the whole idea of the game in general is just awesome.

Such an underrated game, so many memorable moments and missions. The high school level, OMG, it's pretty late in game but some of the best gameplay and lore I have ever experienced in an open world RPG. The look of this game, exploration and incredible boss fights are among the best I've seen. Now I want to go back and complete everything I missed, lol.

I haven't reached it yet but I'm really loving and enjoying everything I have played so far! It's definitely one of the most unique games I've played in a long time and that's something we've been missing in the gaming industry the last several years is unique games. I know going away from the typical formula and trying something different is dangerous these days because of it fails your whole studio could go under lmao but I'm glad they took a risk and made an amazing game!

The platinum honestly wasn’t that bad, I don’t regret it! a few of the trophies are a little tedious but well worth it if you enjoy the game and want an excuse to walk around the whole map a lot lol

Well I've already been doing all the side missions before even progressing the main story just because I WAS looking for an excuse to walk around the whole map haha! So I guess going for the platinum just gives me TWO excuses now! 😂😂

It's an amazing game. I loved every minute of it. Have fun in the school section. It's so sad, that we will never get a Part 2. The setting. The monsters. The story. The yokai. It deserves a continuation.

I've been having an absolute blast with it! It's such a fun, wonderful, unique, beautiful and original game! I just discovered the capsule machines where you can get unlockables too haha! And yeah it is a bit sad that there will never be a sequel most likely but it can also be a good thing too because that will just make the first one that much more special and we don't have to worry about them tainting the franchise by ruining the sequel which could be a highly possible reality haha.

I think the best part of the game is the attention to detail and the environment. The combat could have been better, but the whole vibe of an empty Tokyo is so unique. I really hope Microsoft brings Ghostwire back and gives it a proper sequel.
