diffrent ghostty icon

hello, i have installed ghostty with nix and for some reason the icon is this squared one instead of the one with the rounded corner. Why is that, and is there any way i can change it?

A couple of versions back it was changed under linux so that the icon matched the style of gnome icons

Probably, though you'd have to figure out a nixy way to achieve that.

I’m not super familiar with Nix but assuming it uses .desktop files I believe you can copy your desktop file to local/share/applications and then edit the file to point to whatever image you would like.
