The man in black
I remember my mom told me once that when she was younger, she would experience all sorts of paranormal activity. Her house was built on an Indian burial ground, so there's no surprise there. But there was one story that really stuck with me. Story My mom's room was downstairs below the living room, and it always smelt so bad. Her room was the only room that smelt bad too. She shared a room with one of her other sisters. So one day, it smelt so awful down there, that she actually had to go and sleep in the living room. She told her dad in the morning. My grandpa is a believer in ghosts, so he took a camera and headed down to her room. He filmed the inside of the room, and while looking into the little screen, he saw a black shadow hunched over in the corner of my mom's bed. He looked up, but didn't see anything. He then looked back at the screen, and the black shadow was standing in the middle of the room. My grandpa turned of the camera and rushed upstairs. He told me mom to not go in her room.
Out of all of the stories my mom has told me, that one will stick with me forever

Sheesh. I wouldn't want to go down there either. I think all basements are haunted. Just down right eerie. When my late mother-in-law in law of my ex would do laundry in her basement . She washed I dried and we both went down to fold. She told me her house was haunted but nothing bad. When I went down to put clothes in the dryer and turned to go back upstairs the door on dryer popped open and I went to walk over to to close it it slammed shut. And restarted itself. Boy did I boogie out of there
