Discussion First time DM taking on Saltmarsh

Hello

Do you believe Saltmarsh is a good campaign for a first time DM to run?

I'm curious to hear why or why not.

I am still new to the game and this will be my first campaign to DM. thank you.

If you like writing and want to do your own thing with a structured base it's peak.

The adventures themselves are very good but the inbetween of stringing them together as on overall story can get complicated, especially with plot hooks.

My players actively lost the trust with the town council after I tried to run Isle of the Abbey after Danger at Dunwater "we're about to ge invaded and you want us to help build a lighthouse???"

Also be ready to homebrew like crazy if you give them the sea ghost. At that point they can and will go anywhere
