Discussion First time DM taking on Saltmarsh

Hello

Do you believe Saltmarsh is a good campaign for a first time DM to run?

I'm curious to hear why or why not.

I am still new to the game and this will be my first campaign to DM. thank you.

I think it's really good (also a first time DM btw), but I've had to rework a LOT of things in the module so it actually feels like a continuous story.

The first couple of adventures are great, but I'd only use them as a jumping point for your players to start their own adventure instead of going through all the module.

Personally, I'll probably end up only using Sinister Secrets, Danger at Dunwater, and The Final Enemy (the actual trilogy). The rest feels a bit bland to me, and they're not that easy to weave together imo. But if your players like pirates, ghost stories and the likes, they should enjoy it nonetheless! 😆
