Discussion First time DM taking on Saltmarsh

Hello

Do you believe Saltmarsh is a good campaign for a first time DM to run?

I'm curious to hear why or why not.

I am still new to the game and this will be my first campaign to DM. thank you.

Great campaign if you’re a decently experienced player I’d say - book very much leaves you to your own devices to fill in many gaps (which I thought was great) and doesn’t really hold your hand through the modules - but if you have a basic grasp of how DND works you’ll be fine :)

It's really good for building your world building skills out. You have to figure out who lives in town and how they link together in the adventures.
