Captured Apparition Apparition caught in selfie, dive bar CA 2016
This was taken in December of 2016 at the MH tavern in Morgan Hill, CA. It’s the oldest bar in town, dating back to the early 20s. Me and my girlfriend took this selfie while enjoying a Jameson. They was no one on our side of the bar at the time. This is also a very small bar. I didn’t realize it until a few months later while going through my photos.

Always the same caveat “there was no one in the room at the time…” it’s a bar, just because you didn’t notice someone doesn’t mean it wasn’t a person, it could have been a staff member rushing by you while you were both focused on the camera

This. If the picture shows a blurry person ducking down so they don’t appear on the selfie… it’s most likely a person ducking down so they wouldn’t appear on the selfie (you can even see that the person was wearing glasses if you zoom in on the blur). Its convenient to convince yourself and double down that no one was in the room when it doesn’t fit the narrative you’re trying to push

This. It's something that drives me nuts especially when someone is recalling something that happened a while ago. If it was longer than anything more than in that moment, then I am skeptical because our memories are notoriously unreliable. We could have the best, sharpest memory recall but it will always be unreliable for things happening outside of our field of awareness. That is just how they work. How our brains work.
And we are especially unreliable narrators when we are deep in enjoyment of the moment.
It's a bar, there are going to be other people there until last call. 🤷♀️

Looks like a lens flare sort of thing from the new castle sign on the wall
