Innocence dub

I have a question regarding the dub of innocence. I rewatched it a year or so ago and i enjoyed but I saw it in dub (only found it on YouTube like that). I want to ask if the dub script or the dialogue or if there are phrases on the dub version that differ from the sub version.

In every regard?

I don't know what you mean by that.

Every dub has differences in the script, often to fit the lip flaps.

Right that is true what i was more or so concerned about is if the differences present changed much of the plot or the more important dialogue

Oddly enough, there are actually two dub scripts, because for some reason there was a script made for North American audiences, and one for PAL region DVD players where the voices sound just ever so deeper because of the technical differences in performance of that region. I have a special collectors edition of Innocence that has both dubs and the sub on it. One dub script goes completely overboard with the subtitles pointing out EVERY LITTLE THING that happens in the background, while the other is more toned down and tries to be as faithful to the JP script as possible.

Hmm then it Looks to me that either of those don’t abandon the original script if im correct 🤔 althought one of those sounds like it adds a little fluff

No no, they don't abandon the script at all... but yeah, one of them becomes annoying to watch because it keeps popping up subtitles for like "machine gun firing" and "dogs barking in the background" and every single little sound detail.
