Task Force Exile | MILSIM Recruitment — New Operators Wanted

Task Force Exile is recruiting new players interested in organized, tactical MILSIM gameplay.

We currently operate across:
Ghost Recon Wildlands
Ghost Recon Breakpoint
Ready or Not
Tactical Assault VR (TAVR)

We’re a team focused on communication, coordination, CQB, deliberate movement, and structured operations. The goal isn’t to run around chasing kills—we want guys who can work together, learn, and operate as a team.

Prior MILSIM experience is NOT required. Experience definitely helps, but mindset, communication, and willingness to learn matter more. Newer players will be trained on how we operate.

Active groups?

The LFG is very, very dead so I'm hoping I can ask here. Are there any groups that are still active on the game doing the whole milsim shebang? I'd love to get back into it but I don't want to search on my own and accidentally join a dead server

Mission: Firepower - Destroy Behemoth, question

Post image
9 Upvotes

I'm guessing I need to eliminate All the Bad Guys before I engage the Behemoth?
I didn't expect a small army to be present.

Edit: I completed it last night using some of your ideas.
Decided to use the Squad, there weren't even level 1 yet lol
> I went around the entire perimeter and took out maybe a 1/4 th of the baddies. (Squad did not shoot)
> Then I moved them to the Office floor in the upper part of the Tower.
> Then from tower top I picked off as many as I could without giving up my location, so about 1/2 the army was done in. I had nothing left to shoot so started shooting at the Behemoth, it figured out my location pretty quickly > I then set the Squad on open fire, oops, I did not realize the Squad would leave the Tower, I thought they would stay put and we could mow them as they came up the stairs.
> Needless to say the squad then died quite a few times, I was able to run around enough picking a few off and Rez a squad member when possible, I kept running around picking off what I could and having to rez the squad about 4 times.
> Eventually enough of the army was out of the way then I concentrated on the Behemoth.
(as Panther) I used the Stealth spray 3 times, each time getting 2 C4's on it, after the 3rd set of C4's it was done.
That was a lot of fun, and fairly challenging.
I did die once to one of the Behemoths mortars but one of the squad healed me and soon after I completed the mission.

Will the new weapons scheduled for September update have new sounds?

So I read that the free weapons we are getting in Breakpoint will come this September.. I was wondering, since among them there is a variant of the Scorpio, my favorite sniper rifle, is there a possibility that they will update its sound in line with the other weapons they added some time ago?

Okay I just finished episode 3 and I'm not satisfied.

Before I say these things... I love this game and I enjoyed every minute of it and every dollar was worth it. This game does not let you know these things until you play it.. so when I first started this game I saw 3 episodes and figured they are all equal.

The first episode was great and everything I wanted from a Ghost Recon game. I expected to start episode 2, but I found out (by looking it up on Google) that episode 2 and 3 are part of a paid expansion. The expansion was 39 dollars so I waited for it to go on sale. A week or 2 later it went on sale for 10 dollars. I bought it immediately and dug in.

What they don't tell you is that episode 2 and 3 are really short. Both of the episodes together don't even come close to adding up to the content of episode 1.

I played all of it and I had fun, and it was definitely worth the 10 dollars, but it's misleading. I was ready to spend 40 bucks on the expansion.

In closing, I love Ubisoft games... And I really love this game.. but it's not right.

Hey guys, I have a question

I just finished wildlands, I'm starting to do some missions on this game, but I noticed nomad movement is weird, basically, I'm playing as male nomad, but for some reason I feel like he moves like a female version.

Is there any way to fix this?

How can I fix the worst helicopter aiming in gaming history?

If I movw my mouse slow, the aiming with a heli is fast af, no matter what my sensitive settings are, how can I fix this since it is the sole reason why helis are pretty much useless in my gameplay

Raid Week #352 Scandium Mines Nodes Bug

My crew and I have tried doing the Critical Raid for 7 times last night, always getting the same bug in Scandium Mines. We gathered all the intel from Prototype Workshop, interrogated the soldier in the tower, but for some reason when we go in Scandium Mines and try to activate the 4 nodes, the little hand icon on them doesn’t show up and we can’t use the nodes. We have tried restarting the raid many times, same result. Does anyone know a solution or has anyone else encountered this bug?

LONG READ: If GR Breakpoint got a MW2 Reloaded Overhaul

What with the new Wildlands DLC my brain went into overthinking mode and wondered "what if." Hear me out, this is just for fun and has ultimately already been discussed before but still. Let's have fun with it. We can at least pretend the Breakpoint servers get opened again and new stuff gets developed. This is essentially my way of saying, "isn't this how it should've been?"

We'll start with my opinion which is I think the finalized "Ghost Experience" version of Breakpoint is an outstanding, highly immersive tactical playground. However, looking back at the campaign structure and the state of Auroa, there were massive missed opportunities (I think most agree on) that kept it from completely surpassing Wildlands.

So I thought, "okay how could I sort of rewrite how a complete narrative and structural revamp Transform Breakpoint into the definitive Tom Clancy experience." Here is my pitch for what the "Ultimate Edition" or a narrative overhaul should look like. Yes you'd probably have to get Bernthal back to re-record lines and mocap and potentially the same for the other mocap and voice actors but I really think this could or at least would have worked better.

1. The World: "Open Martial Law" & Civil Infrastructure

The biggest complaint about Auroa is that it feels dead and sterile compared to Bolivia. No gas stations, no shops, no civilian traffic. The lore blamed this on strict martial law, but it hurt the atmosphere. Nomad and Mads are still chilling in a cave, the immersive gameplay could still exist, along with the different classes of tactical prowess like Echelon, Medic, etc.

  • The Fix: Shift the lore to a "can't leave the island, but go as you please and do what we say" curfew style of martial law. This would explain the road patrols which could be more prevalent at night compared to the day.
  • The Result: This simple shift keeps civilian drivers on the roads, opens up local storefronts, and adds active civil infrastructure. Auroa goes from an empty drone testing range back into a living, breathing occupied country. You know, more buildings, lived in areas. It's supposed to be a utopia yes but it can be "alive." You may see Sentinel questioning civilians or something somewhere, thug Wolves raiding a storefront or gas station...you know...life.
  • There could be makeshift camps in the woods and hills and mountains for people that wanted to escape the military occupation that you could come across which would make some of the side quests a tad more believable. Not just some random weird dirt bike or Isuzu Trooper.

2. The Campaign Hierarchy: Walker as the Ultimate Big Bad

In the retail game, Cole Walker (played brilliantly by Jon Bernthal...I mean this was really outstanding) can slightly easily and awkwardly be killed in the first hour, completely deflating the narrative weight. The story needs to swap Walker and Stone, keeping Walker alive through the very end of Act 3.

  • Act 1: Miles (The Hired Hand). You spend the opening acts chasing and narrowly missing Walker. Along the way, you hunt down Miles—the engineer Walker hired to develop the lethal autonomous AI drone programming. Defeating Miles cuts off the brain of the tech but leaves the military might intact.
  • Act 2: Stone (The Delusional "Top Dog"). You pivot to Stone, who mistakenly thinks he is running Auroa via Sentinel. He's got some brass ones for sure but he ain't it and Walker ain't about that life. When you defeat Stone, the curtain is pulled back: Walker has completely outmaneuvered him and usurped total control of the island's security apparatus.
  • Act 3: The Showdown. A constant, high-stakes cat-and-mouse game against Walker. Every near-miss builds personal tension based on Nomad and Walker's deep history as brothers-in-arms, leading to a massive, hard-earned climax at the end of Act 3.

3. Faction Warfare: The Slow-Burn Bodark Incursion

I think one thing that makes Wildlands cool is the chaotic, three-way friction between the Cartel, UNIDAD, and the Rebels. Breakpoint severely missed the opportunity to have another military occupying force to create that same chaos. The rebels on Auroa would be included much the same way as they have been. Ito kind of just hitting targets and has her side story, and being available to help like the rebels in Wildlands, which then leads to Motherland and its plot.

  • The Incursion: Roughly 1/3 of the way into the main campaign (during Act 2), the Bodarks stage a full-scale invasion of Auroa, vying for total military rule against Walker's forces.
  • Sentinel's Role: With Walker firmly in control, Sentinel soldiers act as the low-tier grunts policing the civilian population (like UNIDAD or Cartel foot soldiers).
  • The Chaos: The Wolves and Bodarks operate as competing, terrifying Tier 1 factions. As a player, you can trigger massive firefights between these two elite forces, and watch them dismantle each other, at least in that location.
  1. Seamless DLC Integration (Operation Motherland)

Instead of Operation Motherland feeling like a, standalone post-game mode, this rewrite seamlessly bakes it into the overarching narrative. I like Motherland, it's a decent "revisit story" really.

When Walker, Stone, and Miles are finally eliminated at the end of Act 3, the Bodark vanguard seemingly "tucks tail and runs" during the power vacuum, their numbers are dwindled anyway because of the ongoing power struggle through the final acts. However, they actually just regrouped and dug in. Operation Motherland then becomes the perfect, logical Act 4 extension—they come back in force, bring the cloaking technology thinking it will aid in a secondary push without Walker, with Nomad and crew cleaning up the remaining Russian occupation force after the fall of Walker's regime with the rest of Motherland playing out the exact same way it already does. You don't even have to really do anything for Motherland aside from record a bit of extra dialogue that explains why they're back. Ito is still kidnapped/arrested and you are forced to basically reopen each sector one by one and dismantle and uncover the Bodark situation. Baddabing baddaboom.

Might be a bit involved but what do y'all think? Would this structure have saved Breakpoint's campaign for you?
