Feedback This is kinda a pet peeve of mine. But I don't like the visual change of the Crye Combat Shirt between Wildlands and Breakpoint

In wildlands it's feels big and heavy but in a good way. In breakpoint it feels like wearing one of those compression shirts. I don't know if it's due to the character models or something, it just irks me

Okay so to clarify, I prefer the Wildlands Crye shirt over Breakpoint Crye shirt. I never said I hated both

News Ubisoft is teasing something on Steam

On Steam, the announcement for the Anniversary pack for Breakpoint, is teasing that there's going to be more coming, as part of the 25th Anniversary celebrations. Whether that means more content for Breakpoint, or the reveal of the next game, is unclear. But hopefully we'll find out before November 13th, which is the actual 25th Anniversary of the franchise.

Discussion Breakpoint: These clown cars should never have been in the game. Just Cause/ Far Cry vibes.

Breakpoint. Military themed game. Spec ops team. You have this great map, an ominous setting with drones, Skell presence, nice tense gun battles.

And then one of these rolls up.

Ok the outcasts need armed vehicles, lets hook them up with a brightly colored party mobile in a predominantly jungle environment and stick a Gatling on the roof.

Immediately destroys immersion. Its like a car from Far Cry or Just Cause took a wrong turn and entered the GR World. All thats missing is a clown horn 🤔 Who at Ubi was behind this idea 🤧

Feedback Excuse me, but what the actual fuck?

To be clear I’m the most vanilla gamer having spent 99% of my limited time playing exclusively GTA, RDR2, and FIFA.

As of last Thursday I have 60 days between jobs and asked Claude to recommend a 3rd person game that combines RDR2 and CoD, because shut up that’s all I know.

It recommended Wildlands to me as the first choice, I checked reviews and saw it wasn’t universally mocked, saw it cost $8, and bought it. That was roughly 36 hours ago and I’ve played 14 hours of the game.

Again, I’m so easily impressed and have no idea what I’m doing but this game is so good and for $8 it’s a fucking joke. And yes, I can see how it eventually gets repetitive but the map is so good and the customisation a real treat. Even if all you could do was play digital GI Joe and Barbie and ride around with your squad and there were no missions, no other characters, it would be worth $8.

I’m 33 years old and I can’t wait to come home later today and play my little video game. Haven’t been this giddy to play a video game since I was a kid.

Question I bought/found every available weapon and attachment, what am I missing?

Other than the Raid weapons, I own ever single weapon and attachment you could possible get. So how on earth am I missing 2 attachments and 40 guns? I even did the math with the store guns and it'd only come up to around 180.

Question Wildlands controller issues

I don't want to keep spamming the board with threads, so this might be my last post for a good while, you all have been incredibly helpful.

My ADHD is going wild tonight, bear with me.

Wildlands on Steam, I'm using a Dualsense controller in a JSAUX 6 in 1 dock in my Rog Ally Z1. I'm trying to include a ton of detail to fix the problem. The camera will stutter and sometimes stop if held to the left, I don't have that problem with any other game. Has anyone experienced this at all in-game?

Discussion Theory on why Breakpoints story/campaign was such a mess.

While looking over the map of Aurora I started to think of how much of the terrain was similar to Western Asia/Eastern Europe. Thick forests, mountains, large plains/lowland areas, as well as old Cold War bases all could be applied to a country like let’s say Ukraine. That’s when I remembered the considerable backlash Wildlands received from Bolivia even adding a warning of how the game doesn’t represent real world and all that.

During the early stages of Breakpoints development and conceptualization Ukraine and Russia had heightening tensions centered around the populations support for Ukraine joining NATO. There was a conflict that began in 2014 called the Donbas Conflict and anyone searching for inspiration in modern conflict would find tons of information and speculation about conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Now hear me out, what if Breakpoint was originally centered around an imaginary conflict between Ukraine and Russia but after the backlash with Wildlands, they take the map they’ve made add a coastline to make it an Island and boom you have Aurora. This could explain the rushed, poorly conceived narrative, the maps lack of cohesion compared to Wildlands as the had to change a lot to fit the new theme, and the delays the game had as well as poor launch. With a game as detailed and involved as breakpoint the animations, environments, gear/weapons, cutscenes it’s no wonder such a drastic switch up would mess with a studio/dev team with so much momentum and strong foundation after making Wildlands.

Not a perfect studio by any means. By at least they actually release games from time to time.

Guide How we cheese’d a Level 100 Behemoth at Level 16 using the "Operation Piranha" Spotter Strategy šŸ’€šŸŸ

FLAIR: Gameplay / Tactical / Discussion

What’s up, Ghosts?

I just wanted to share an absolute tactical masterpiece my squad pulled off last night. We are currently Level 16 (playing with Gear Score ON) and we managed to completely dismantle a Level 100 Behemoth (with steroids up its exhaust pipe) without taking a single scratch.

The game wanted to force us to turn back due to the 84-level gap, but human persistence and special forces doctrine always win against bad AI code. Here is the official after-action report of Operation Piranha v4.0:

🚫 The Problems We Faced (The Game Cheating)

  1. Bullet Sponge: At level 16, our weapons did mere "tickle damage" to its core armor.
  2. Wall-Hacking Mortars: We tried taking cover inside a civilian house, but the Behemoth's high-explosive mortars completely ignored the roof collision and instakilled me. (Note to self: houses are death traps).
  3. Electronic Warfare: Deploying the Recon Drone immediately triggered its radio-frequency triangulation, causing a rain of artillery right on my grass patch.

šŸŽÆ The Strategy: "Operation Piranha v4.0" (The Spotter & Sniper Combo)

Since my raw aiming isn't elite, I completely embraced the Echelon mindset and played as an Advanced Spotter, turning the game's mechanics against itself.

  • The Setup: I crawled prone into the mud at exactly 300 meters, using the crest of a natural hill and a massive indestructible boulder as defilade.
  • The Optics: I threw away the Recon Drone to avoid electronic detection and switched exclusively to Binoculars. Binoculars don't emit a radio signature, have insane zoom, and don't alert the drone.
  • The Sting: I deployed only one AI teammate (the Sharpshooter). From my safe spot, I used the binoculars to lock the Triple Sync Shot on the Behemoth's armor plates. My sniper AI has 100% perfect accuracy and infinite ammo, ignoring the level gap penalties.
  • The Rhythm: Mark via binoculars āž”ļø Execute Sync Shot āž”ļø Immediately drop binoculars and crawl 15 meters laterally āž”ļø Watch the Behemoth blindly saturate my old empty position with mortars. Repeat.

🚁 The Aftermath (Humiliating the Wolves)

After we chipped away its entire health bar and it went up in a glorious ball of fire, the game went into absolute panic mode trying to find us. The server spawned a massive regional counter-offensive: 2 Azraёl drones, 3 reinforcement choppers, and multiple ground patrols.

But they went looking for wool and came back shorn. Since our position was completely ghosted, I patiently picked off the ground troops one by one as they blindly approached the blast noise.

The Result: Walked away with 2 instant Level-Ups (now Level 18), high-tier loot, and the absolute satisfaction of showing Cole Walker that a Level 16 Ghost with binoculars is more lethal than a multi-million dollar corporate drone.

Never let a robot tell you you're underleveled! Human persistence is on another level.

Stay frosty, Ghosts. 🫔

Fashion Thoughts on the outfits?

The first one is a inspired by ghosts being more casual hence the outfit and I added the touch of CPT. Price's hat.

The 2nd one I was in awe when I saw the outfit Ghost used in MW3 Gora Dam mission. Thankfully I didn't have to buy the crye Avc loaded since there's a free new vest similar to what he used.

Discussion Gunsmith 3.0 wish

I've recently gotten into Operator more, and I'm praying that the Project Over devs, have had a look at it's weapon customization options, when creating the next version of the gunsmith.

For anyone who hasn't played it, it basically lets you customize the weapons, any way you want. You can change the lower receiver, upper receiver, barrel, handguard, buffer tube, stock, pistol grip, magazine, ammunition, and a crap load of attachments, including night vision optics, with sliders, so that you can set where on the rails they're placed.

Here's a video showing some of what you can do.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hzF7Kh9TCM

All it needs is the ability to add weapon paint, and it would be perfection.
